Q: Why do these not need extra filters? do i just stop using them after they run out? if so, do i still need to wet the grounds instead of the filter?

Overall a good product

I am happy cold brewing with this product. Setting up, measuring and adjusting the drip make part of the way I enjoy coffee now. Before buying it, I was very discouraged by the reviews... but price, brewing type and materials led me to buy it... and I am not disappointed at all. It deserves five stars when it comes to consistently making delicious flavorful coffee.

Perfectly Inexpensive Cold Brew!

The price of this cold brew maker seems attractive yet may come with some apprehension; how can a price this good make an adequate cup of cold brew? Well, I have to say it does just that! And I am quite particular about my coffee!This company emphasizes on the fact that one can make their own cold brew in as little as 4 hours, though that is true, I think patience is key for producing the strongest and most flavorful cup. By simply adjusting the water flow to its slowest setting, it may take 12-14 hours for it to completely brew, however, it is worth it!! Because of the long brewing process, I recommend that one cuts the cold brew with some water--that's typically what any coffee shop would do.I didn't give this product all 4 stars because I will say that the carafe is a bit cumbersome and the glass does feel a bit flimsy. I have to be extra careful when I wash it.Are there sturdier and more professional products, of course! However, I totally recommend this product as an inexpensive way to have a good cup of brew!

Not the best cold brewer around if you don't realize that movinf the head of the cap will change the flow of water you will never get the brew irgth

I wouldn't buy again

Don't know if I just don't know how to use product but when you follow directions the carafe isn't even half full. Seems a waste of time to wait 4 hours for 1 or 2 cups of coffee. Would not buy again. Coffee isn't strong enough either. It barely wets the grounds.

warped reservior

the glass reservoir arrived warped (nonconcentric) to the point that the lid would not fit onto it. unusable and disappointing.

Poor design and lacks capacity

Just an all around bad product. Filter falls off due to air pressure of putting dripper on. Carraffe doesn't even get full with water from reservoir. Carrafe has no handle and is cumbersome to hold. Get something else.
