Great for blocking knitted/crocheted items
I finally finished a crochet shawl and blocked it using these mats. They interlock well, stay together, and are nice & thick. Rust-proof T-pins included. I do need another set for larger projects. I will use these over and over and recommend them to any yarn crafter.

Great once you figure them out
Pros:-thick-held together well-grids lined up well after I figured it out (see below)-pins included-storage bagCons:-chemical smell which I hope will go away-no instructions on piecing the blocks together. I had to look at the picture of the product to see how they line up. They sometimes needed to be flipped around in order to fit but once I got it it worked well-the pin case won't close/lock againI would buy these again, some instructions would have been useful.

Great for beginners
It's a little confusing to make it into one large grid w the nine sqaure, it doesn't quite line up unless you put it together in a very specific way. It does get the job done and I've had no problems using these for a year

Crooked Grid Lines
These do not work well. They do not fit together well, and the lines of the grids do not line up. They are printed crooked. Do not recommend.

I finally got them to go altogether!! They work great for blocking baby afghans.

Love them
Comes with enough T pins, I wish there were numbered measurements but still works, I just use tape to remember the sizing.

Mats good for smaller projects
I don't like these ones as much as others that I own. They say they are 12" X 12" but that is only if you count the puzzle edges . If you want to block a 12" square of knitting, you must connect more than one mat. . They also only fit together in a certain way and direction. The other two sets that I have are12 1/2" so you have a true 12" square in which to use for blocking. Because of this, these new mats do not fit with my older ones. Not very happy with these.
