A great weighted backpack
This is a great way to add weight to any body weight exercise. The materials and construction look and feel top notch. It's made out of 600D Oxford which is a very strong and durable material, very likely to hold up for a long time and take plenty of abuse in the process. The stitching is more likely to give out before the material, and the stitching on this backpack looks good to me so I don't anticipate any issues. The mesh padding helps with breathability. Adjustable straps, both the shoulder and chest, help to make sure you get a good fit. I am 6' and 170lbs and did not require much adjustment before I found a good fit.I'm mostly using this for at home exercises, but if you do use this for outdoor rucking, the MOLLE webbing could definitely come in handy for attaching almost anything you could want while maintaining free hands. The small zippered pocket would also be useful in this scenario for carrying your wallet, phone, etc. I'm in my garage when I exercise and obviously that isn't something I need but I can confirm the pocket is big for any of these smaller items.Overall, I am very happy with it. I threw in a plate, went to work for 55 minutes, and it was great. The fit, comfort, weight placement, etc. Everything was great.

It works
I got the weighted backpack for my husband to train. He’s been looking at weighted vests and backpacks, so we figured we’d try this one.Pros: the stitching is strong, it does fit, and the buckle is holding up.Cons: it does seem small? But maybe it’s on purpose. Looking back at the photos it seems accurate compared to the model used. My husband is 6’4” and he said it just seems kind of small and puts more weight on his upper back. At the same time, maybe that’s what it’s supposed to do to prevent injury on the lower back? I don’t know I’m not a physical therapist.

HEAVY DUTY
NO doubt in my mind that this "ruck" can carry a lot of weight. I've carried my fair share of weight in my rucksack while I was in the military and the benefit of the A-frame is that a majority of the weight is transferred to your hips. As a beginner, I recommend taking it slow (& light) since this "ruck" puts A LOT of weight on your shoulders. Use it carefully, please.

IT IS SO SMALL
Why is this backpack so small? I am a normal size man, 200lbs, 6'0. This is smaller than a childs backpack. there is no way to train with this the way that it sits.

Very ill-fitting harness, not comfortable at all
There’s something really wrong with the shoulder strap setup on this trainer ruck. The straps are well padded and seem like they’d be comfortable with a weight plate in it, however, they are way too short and stop making contact on the body right around my pectoral muscles, which leaves bare straps digging into me down and under the arms. They also seem set a bit too wide, or perhaps it’s the angle they take when worn, whatever it is, it’s not comfortable at all and I’ve tried adjusting it as much as possible.Aside from the pretty big issue of the fit, it is well built, with quality nylon and a well thought-out design for the weight plate compartment. The one storage pocket it does have is a very shallow zippered pocket that really can’t fit much of anything, I could barely stuff some gloves in there. I didn’t get it for storage or hauling obviously, I intended to put a weight plate in it for training but the harness just doesn’t work for me no matter what I tried, it’s not even comfortable empty. If they could fix the sizing issues it’d be a solid choice for a training ruck but as it is, it’s just not very good at all unfortunately.
