Best Blurring Lipstick
I was looking for a dupe for the Bisou Balms (Violette FR), and stumbled upon these. For only $4 a piece, I was able to get several colors for less than half (!!!!) the price of one Bisou Balm. I am wearing I'm Shy in the pics. They really look like you dont have any lipstick on, or like the just-kissed look. On my darker skintone, I would say they are super sheer. I really have to build it up to see anything, which is what I was going for anyways. They feel really nice on the lips, very silky, and not too dehydrating. Highly recommend these.(Update: added pictures of Homecoming Queen, sooo pretty. Last 2 pics.)

Excellent sheer matte blotted lip
Excellent matte sheer lipstick. Feels less sticky than balm but not dry at the same time. It gives blotted light wash of color look. You can apply two coats for more saturated color. LOVE✨I bought multiple colors

Really like these
I bought Bali Blossom first, wore it to work all night and then immediately ordered Little Red Rosette. These are somewhere between a lipstick and lip balm without any shine. They remind me of Glossier’s first iteration of Generation G.They produce a subtle wash of color that is blurring and soft but is buildable to a bright pop of color. With any matte lip color, these can enhance the look of dryness so I do recommend doing a lip scrub beforehand and/or applying a moisturizing lip balm and let sit for a bit before wiping off and applying. That being said, I didn’t find the formula drying in of itself. It’s a lot more comfortable than liquid mattes or other blurring lip products I’ve tried. The wear is pretty decent. They aren’t fade proof or budge proof, but I only had to reapply maybe twice throughout my shift, which is pretty decent for a 9 hour serving shift where I’m constantly talking, drinking from my water bottle, snacking to keep up my energy, drinking coffee etc. it does start to slip if you eat anything greasy, just like a liquid matte formula does.Came off easily when washing my face with my double cleanse method with using cleansing oil first to remove makeup. All in all for the price point these are great. I will say the colors online aren’t entirely accurately represented but I love the colors.

Formula feels nice, color wasn’t as expected
Got homecoming Queen. I like the feel and the sheerness, feels like Glossiers Gen X lipstick, however the color was much more red than I was looking for - the color swatches looked more like jammy, berry, purply red but the actual color is more of a bright berry red with no purple

Beautiful blur
100% better than Bisou Balm by Violette_FR! Bisou Balm dries my lips out so much that they actually hurt in a few hours. Also, Bisou Balm is $29.00 per tube (0.08oz / 2.5g), and the Soft Blur Matte Lipstick is typically under $5.00 (0.11oz / 3.15g)! The colors are similar, but Soft Blur has more pigment (just blot once or twice, perfectly duped). They even smell similar, but Bisou Balm has a stronger scent. The colors in my swatch photo are: Top Left: Bisou Balm Sucette, Bottom Left: Soft Blur in Homecoming Queen. Top Right: Bisou Balm Amour Fou, Bottom Right: Little Red Rosette. For the price, Soft Blur Matte Lipsticks are a VERY good dupe and you can afford to try all the colors. Yes, my Homecoming Queen lipstick bullet was loose, but I just pushed it back in while putting it on and it's been fine ever since. I love them so much I've already bought backups to store!

Useless!
The lipstick was loose in the container. It was obvious before I even got it out of the packing that the actual lipstick bullet was not secured to the tube. Pretty color but useless.

Amazing MLBB. Dupe for Glossier Generation G or Violette Bissou Balm
Shade “I’m Shy” is a perfect MLBB (my lips but better). It’s my holy grail casual lip look!It has a powdery, velvety feel on the lips. It looks blurred and subtle with one swipe. With two or three it gets more vibrant and obvious that you’re wearing something. Matte without being drying but it’s not moisturizing. So if your lips are dry it’d be good to put on a chapstick before applying this. I’ve found that layering this on top of cherry Chapstick (the brand) or EOS chapstick blends perfectly well.I love this so much that it’s my daily wear. I bought a second one as a back up in case it gets discontinued. It wears nicely and lasts a good amount of time, but does come off if you eat greasy food. And I wouldn’t call it long wear. But it fades so evenly! No need to blot after applying. Very forgiving, and not messy except for one thing: it broke off near the base and fell out of the tube without having been dropped! All I did was I happened to turn it upside down while I was getting the cap to put it back on. Luckily it just fell into my lap and I was able to pop it right back in. I thought maybe it was a fluke but this also happened with my other shade, Homecoming Queen. So I am bummed about that, but the formula and price is so good that I don’t care.
