This was my first Made to Roam purchase, and I couldn't be happier. Absolutely superb quality leash with ultra-secure carabiner hook up to your dog's leash or harness. Excellent color selection that matches perfectly with Made to Roam's selection of collars and harnesses. This is the nicest leash I've ever owned. Great for medium to large-sized dogs. It may be a bit heavy duty for little breeds, but maybe not. I highly recommend this leash and just about anything from this brand. Top quality materials and workmanship that will last a long time. Superb!

GET. THIS. LEASH!!! ASAP!I was on a walk with my pup yesterday when I saw some larger dogs approaching. I have a small little yapper who gets scared of bigger dogs, so I picked him up to avoid drama, as I usually do. Somehow, while he was wriggling and I was trying to get a good grip on his harness, my hand accidentally opened the latch of his leash and almost unhooked from his harness! OMG!His old leash has the standard eye snap hook. His harness does not have a dedicated 'handle' so the spot I use to pick him up and hold him securely is right where all the latches of the harness and leash are. After some 'testing' at home, I could see how it happened, and I immediately hit Google and Amazon for a leash with a locking clip. We live on a busy street, and ALL the other neighbors have dogs (some large) so I NEVER wanted to risk this happening again!After some digging, I found this leash and it just arrived today <3<3<3This leash is very sturdy and well designed; I am very impressed. I wish I had this leash for my last dog, who was a Rottie. The leash itself is heavy duty and won't easily rip or tear. The heavy duty hardware at the end of the leach and at handle are very sturdy; it would take Clifford the Big, Red Dog to tear this leash out of your hands!My favorite feature of course, is the auto-locking carabiner. It is VERY simple to use and locks with a reassuring 'snap'. There's NO WAY this will accidentally open during walks, jogs, hikes, or heavy rough-housing. Meaning you can go on adventures with more peace of mind. I am 1000% satisfied and I have already suggested it to my friends and family. My mom actually got annoyed and jokingly asked "what are you going to write an article?" to which I reply by instead writing an Amazon review :)My only request would be the addition of reflective nylon along the leash for added visibility at night.This is not super crucial for me now since I only have a small dog and we do not walk when its too dark.
