Depends on how strong you like the roux. We use about 8 to 10oz in an 8qt pot of gumbo, so about 3+ quarts of roux. We usually have the strength at a medium level where it's not weak or overwhelming.

I like using this roux.it always makes perfect gumbo. Order from Cajun Gocer for a much better price. I have kept in the fridge for months after opening.

Q: What are the Ingredients?

The ingredients are typical Cajun ingredients. Brain, organ meats, etc. It tastes good but if you read the ingredients, you will not enjoy the flavor that this brings. My wife is Cajun so I just eat it and smile.
