I’ve nothing against pigeons or any other type of wildlife. But I do have a problem with a fence in my garden which, for some reason, seems to attract the birds that then leave unsightly “deposits” down the front of it.Having seen similar spikes used on public buildings I thought I would try them out on my fence.Unfortunately, I misread the Amazon listing and thought I was going to be getting six strips each 1.5 m long for a total of 9 m. What I got was six strips which when put together are a total of 1.5 m long which is not quite the same thing! That was my fault, I admit, I should have taken more notice of the graphic on the site rather than the product description but it is something to be aware of.That aside, the plastic bases are made from transparent plastic, which is somewhat flexible. 15 pairs of spikes need to be inserted into each of the 25 cm long bases which is a bit fiddly and would take a while if you were planning to cover several metres as I was originally intending to do.Given that I only have enough for one and a half metres I’m not sure that I will be bothering to assemble and fix up just that short section. My personal opinion is that £12.99 is somewhat expensive for only 1.5 meters, this and bearing in mind the amount of assembly that is required, I can really only rate this product with three stars.

Product came packaged up.Parts fit very well and easy to assemble.Fitted with cable ties (not supplied).Can be glued or screwed down depending on application.Pigeons have been deterred from perching on the TV antenna!!

As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.This pack of 6 Lengths of Nsxc Pigeon Spikes arrived in a cardboard box.I ordered these pigeon spikes as I was fed up of pigeon on my windowsills because of the mess and noise they make, and these seemed to be the perfect solution.They didn’t come with any instructions, but to be honest they weren’t needed, plus there is a very good video in the listings that shows you how to put them together, and of course the video that I shot for this review, as you can see it doesn’t take long.The strips are made from plastic and are a little flexible.I was surprised they didn’t supply any screws or wall plugs in the box, but luckily I had a few in my toolbox. Also, as another reviewer has pointed out the title of the listing is a bit misleading as it states “Nsxc 6pcs Pigeon Spikes 1.5M” and if you don’t look at the pictures or video, you may think that you will receive 6 at 1.5M making a total length of 9M.So once installed I am glad to say it has done the job, no more pigeon on my windowsill.I could go through everything that’s in the listing description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing in my video, this is just my personal experience with it.At the time of writing this review the price is £12.99.The squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing are there so you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph or video, the small are 1cm square and the larger ones are 5cm.I hope you have found this review and video helpful.
