Very powerful motor. Absolutely Love it. Much noisier than stock but that's okay. Just be prepared For mora grades. After two days With it I had to buy new axles. But that was my fault not Being aware of what I was doing

Great all metal transmission.
Great all metal transmission. Works with Injora 370 brushed and Fat Viper brushless motors.

Precise and lightweight motors that are great for more than just monster truck RC
we use these in our robotics. They have a sensible reduction ratio and they are very lightweight. These are great for limbed robotics. I do wish some of the shaft stuck out the back so an encoder magnet could be attached.

Pros & Cons equal “meh”
So I’ll start with the good(ish). It’s an eight screw drop in system. Pull the 2 battery tray screws, 4 screws that hold the trans down, remove your driveshafts 2 screws, put the new motor/trans in and then put it all back together. Really easy…kinda. Now I may have been in a slightly different position as my TRX4m also has a brass skid plate but once it’s all put back together you need to do a small amount of modding. The battery tray needs a slight trim to sit flush against the transmission and you’ll have to do just a little sanding to keep the rear drive shaft from rubbing. Ok no big deal. Then you’ll either want to skip one of the screws holding the trans in or use a ball end hex (looking down from top of truck facing forwards it’ll be the first screw clockwise) because there’s not enough clearance to get at the screw. I stripped mine…whoops.Ok now you’ve got it in. Great. No it’s not broken. That’s just how it sounds. It HOWLS!! It’s the loudest transmission I’ve heard in a mini. Like it’s REALLY loud. Whines all the time and it’s a very annoying pitch. The gears are all greased well so I’m thinking it’s just the way they are cut. You’ll either learn to live with it or it’ll drive you crazy. You can swap the gears out for the stock plastic gears but I’d advise against it.And here is why. It’s got an absurd amount of torque. Like more than you would ever need in a mini crawler or trail truck. You’re gonna wanna drop metal gears everywhere, you’re gonna want brass or aluminum hexes, and you’re gonna want metal wheels. If a wheel gets hung up and you give it the beans, I’ve seen the way you drive, you’ve got a heavy foot, you’ll blow yourself to pieces (yup that’s a F&F reference). But seriously this little motor will rip your drivetrain to shreds. You’re only gonna want to run this in a 3s system or you’ll die of slow painful boredom. The gears that come in the system are the crawler gears and on 2s it tops out at about 2mph. No kidding. On 3s it’s get much more pep. 3s w/ this system = 2s w/ the stock system. Maybe 1mph faster. So, in the end, I’m not really sure who this is for. With Injora now having a $60 brushless system this probably isn’t a great buy for $40. The brushless will be better in every single way. Heck even the smaller Injora 180 Pro motor would be better for under $20. Overall I’d say skip this one for your build.

Has good amount of power little bigger in size than stock with grease gears are still loud
