For the money you really can't ask for more from this condenser dryer. It has a lot of features that similarly priced models from other brands simply don't have and in some ways, a lot better than our last Hotpoint one. Like the dial for example, actually feels quite a lot better and more intuitive than the dial on our last dryer which kind of felt like it would break at any moment during the years that we had it. If you've own a Hotpoint dryer, you probably know what I mean. This dryer also has a little light on the inside which is useful and it is a little bit quieter in the sense that the sound it produces is constant so you're not going to get the rattling sound some dryers make. We also purchased the extended guarantee too (around £50), which I called up to enquire about and amazon confirmed that all claims are dealt with by amazon themselves so you can expect great cover should it be needed. Hopefully not!In summary then, this is a great dryer at a great price that also comes with 2 years manufactures guarantee and one that I would recommend, especially at the price of £265.

This dryer is an absolute life saver!!! Managed to convince husband that we need one before baby nr2 is born. With a busy 3 year old, a husband that works in construction and a baby I knew there would be HEAPS of washing that would take me forever to dry even during summer as it often rains. We no longer have the space to dry it all indoors meaning I can only do one wash every couple days. I was dreading that and started looking at condenser dryers. Found this one from Sharp that was an absolute bargain. Especially considering it’s a reputable brand. Was able to select delivery date which made it handy and once it came the setup was super easy. Dries the clothes super fast with ease. No shrinkage nor ruined fabrics. The clothes and bedding as well as towels are lovely and soft. The dryer itself is super quiet and can barely be heard. After all you need to do is empty the water tank and clean out the filter with all the fluff which only takes 2 minutes. Alternatively, you can attach the dryer to a waste pipe but we saw no need. Honestly can only recommend

After searching long and hard I purchased this dryer based on the very positive reviews. Purchased in November 2024, it appeared to work well until suddenly in February 2025 it stopped working. Thanking my lucky starts I’d registered the warranty, I thought I’d have the issue sorted without difficulty. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Amazon directs you to the manufacturer Sharp. Emails to the Sharp Helpdesk remain unacknowledged and unanswered. Calls to the Sharp Home Appliance Team met with an automated voice message “Sorry your call cannot be completed at this present time. Please try again later” for over a week. At my wits end as to what to do. Will try Resolver. Perhaps, it’s just my misfortune to get a faulty appliance, but the lack of service support speaks volumes.

Arrived yesterday and used today for the first time. I love it. It's quiet, looks good, easy to use and dries my laundry.

Works great, and is quite an upgrade from previous. Has far more functions than will ever be used, but once I found the function that works best for us it does the job very well. The light on the inside is a nice touch so you don't forget the odd sock. The only negative is that I would prefer the door to open in the other direction, and it is not reversible.

Bought this after my last condenser dryer died after a good 8 years of service.Waited until I spotted this beauty in the black Friday sales, for the spec of the machine I deduce it to be a real bargain.Plenty of settings, most of my clothes are do not tumble dry so I was only really buying this for my son's school uniform and underwear.Since his stuff is labeled as a 1 dot cool tumble dryer setting I chose the delicates setting (36 minutes on low) and on finishing some things were still a little damp so I opted to do the 12 minute shirts setting on low which finished everything off.I'll be sure to look at the other settings as sadly there was no generic cool or half heat setting like on my old one (but doing it the way I did was fine and it didn't look like anythyhad shrunk etc).A really great machine that will prove to be an absolute godsend in the winter, I'm absolutely thrilled with it !!!!

Very good machine

We are absolutely delighted with this machine. It is quiet and looks so good we didn't even cover it up as planned - we especially like the dark door so tumbled clothes can't be seen. Clothes are quickly dried and the moisture is safely stored in a large plastic container. So tidy and efficient. Delighted as it has eliminated a condensation issue we had whilst drying on a clothes horse in our flat.
