Good boots, honest claims
At last a pair of walking boots that are actually waterproof. I was so fed up with wet feet. These were recommended by a friend. They are comfortable straight out of the box, my preference is usually a mid rise ankle, but I’m really not having any problem with these.

Great!
These boots are very high quality, waterproof, real leather, and offer a lot of stability and grip on hikes. Unfortunately I find the base a little hard which makes my feet hurt after 2 hours. Good otherwise.

Very pleased
Very pleased so far. These were recommended for achilles tendon problems. They've been comfortable since trying them on. I was looking for a replacement for my faithfull old Brasher boots and these seemed ideal. I do like the fact that there are softer leather inserts in front of the toes and at the side of the feet, not a glamorous look but great if your feet swell. I did size up to a six from a 5.5 and they are a great fit

Fantastic Boots, Like a Duvet for your Feet!
I cannot praise highly enough the Grisport brand of hiking shoes/boots - they are amazing, really. I have a problem with one of my feet at the side/top (something like a bunion) which is irritated by tight fitting shoes. This is my second pair of this brand's walking shoes that I have immediately been able to wear straight from the box! They are slightly wider fitting than any others I have tried and a dream to wear! No need to gently ease them in. The other pair I have is the Ignite Green.Comfortable, warm, fantastic quality I will be purchasing more of Grisport's range! So happy I found them....by chance in an outdoor shop in Lynton :-). Cannot make any comment yet on the water resistance, I need the rain for that and don't wish for that to happen anytime soon!

Not waterproof
I hike quite often and decided to spend a bit more money on better quality boots that will last longer and will keep my feet dry in light to moderate showers at the least. Well after buying these boots and wearing them for a few months I feel like I just threw my money in the bin to be honest. These are not waterproof, after wearing them for about six months I can confidently say that they are useless in wet weather which is unfortunate as I live in the UK. They are supposed to be waterproof but only performed well for the first two 5 mile walks in very light rain (I walk somewhere around 6 miles about twice a week). After my third walk I started to come home with slightly damp socks but could tolerate that more or less as it was barely noticeable at first. But after that every walk even in the lightest of drizzles would result in wet socks. The breaking point was a week ago when after a moderate rain I had to walk through some wet grass (not tall grass) and my boots were full of water as if I just swam in a lake! I had to stop several times to take them off so I could squeeze the excess water from my socks as I felt like I was literally splashing in water in my boots! In fact I nearly slipped a few times on the pathway down as the splashing water was making walking not just difficult but dangerous. I tried these boots once more just in case but on a pathway without wet grass this time. There was very slight rain and the results were that my socks were completely wet but at least no splashing inside this time. I think the issue is with the opening above the toe line in the boot, it lets the water to go through easily as that’s where I feel the wetness starts. My friends with boots without that lining all had dry feet. So basically these boots are useless now most of the time except the driest of weather which is a shame because I actually found them a very comfortable fit.

Comfy & waterproof but poor grip
These boots are very comfortable and are definitely waterproof in wet grass and in the worst rain a Cumbrian winter can provide. However they have poor grip on muddy or wet stony paths, which is a shame. I've slipped and almost fallen a few times now and have resorted to wearing my old Trespass boots if I'm walking in a woodland trail.
