Great for older toddlers
This is exactly as described and it’s so cute. I bought it for my 3yo and it’s great. That being said it has a lot of pieces- as a first time mom that’s not something I really considered. Not only are there a lot of pieces but they are tiny and a 3yo gets frustrated with them at times. I think this toy is best for at least 4 year olds who have more patience. Nonetheless the quality is there, detail is great, and the price is truly unbeatable.

No box.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. I have bought other buildings in thus line and she loves them all, so I know it will be a hit. The only thing that irks me is it didn't come in a box so wrapping is going to be difficult with the open top of the diner. I have bought a total of 6 buildings in the past and all came in a box, not this one.

Charming 1950's Diner for Lil' Woodzeez or other Flocked Figures
I got this for a couple of reasons. Primarily because I'm an adult collector of C—-C—----, with a few Lil’Woodzeez relatives. But also because I'd like to introduce these to my 5 year old granddaughter, and I am more comfortable sharing these somewhat less expensive (but just as sturdy) playsets with her. Here’s what I like about this set:1. The vibrant Colors, which seem very true to Diners of that era.2. The Options for play. Characters can be just entering the store, sitting down for a meal, Preparing a meal, serving a meal at the table or bar, Ringing up an order at the cash register, leaving the work area via a flip up section of the counter (so cool), Serving characters at the Drive through or ordering/receiving food at the drive through.3. The Bar and Stove/sink area are non removable. The Nogahyde style bench seats and table can be removed. I love how the benches, table, and tiny food items come temporarily fixed to the set as part of the packaging.(NOTE: When the packaging is left on the table/chairs, the adult Lil’ Woodzeez Fox family doesn't fit- figures without a tail may be fine. Calico critters cat figures however fit perfectly in this scenario, they can’t sit, but standing puts them just at the right level of the table so that they can appear to be enjoying a meal.4. Because Lil’Woodzeez have grabbing hands, they should be able to grasp the utensils and coffee cups (which current Calico Critters can’t).5. I appreciate that all the stickers are already attached (Thank you Woodzie people!). I like the great detail, done through paint, stickers (that in time may peel),and especially through embossing (raised plastic) that will never be damaged or removed.6. Developmentally I think this set could facilitate open ended play, imaginary play, cooperative play, and fine motor skills. With all the small pieces this is obviously made for kids 3 and up. I personally think my 5 year old granddaughter would be overwhelmed/frustrated if all the small pieces were loose, which is why I’m going to try leaving the plastic covering on the table/chairs for the time being. We’ll see!My only “complaint” is that a small amount of the paint has already been rubbed off of the top edges of the “Diner” sign (which very few kids would notice or care about).

Huge fans!
My son is 5 and really, really enjoys miniatures. This is his second Li'l Woodzeez set and again, I'm blown away with how cute and intentional everything is. For example, I love that you can actually put the french fries into the deep fry basket. It's just silly and fun. It's great to have toys around the house that are appealing to both of us, too. I love to sit down and organize all of the accessories he has from his sets. I promise I don't feel that way about any other of his toys lolI think anyone can look at the set and see how cute it is, but the way he's able to play with it really holds up why we love these sets so much. My son loves to take over his play area and will use all sorts of things to build a town. The buildings, like this diner, help him have structure, but he'll use mix accessories for whatever makes sense in his story. It's fun to watch, and I often get to see a visual representation of how he's perceiving our city. He has a blast making up these stories for the animal families, too. It's just fantastic. His Li'l Woodzeez and his other similar toys are, by far, his most played with toys. I think it's because he can create whatever play he wants with them. Like he's in a huuuge Spider-Man phase right now, so of course his action figures have been all around "City Hall" stopping bad guys. I just love it. I'd rate higher if I could.

Fun little playset
My daughter owns several of the little Woodzeez playset and all are made well with good hinges and study sets of toys and furniture. This one is no exception. She loves to use all her small 1-2 inch figures in these sets and sets up quite the neighborhood with them all. Lots of fun
