Great crime suspense book by Freida Mcfadden.
Freida McFadden’s The Teacher is a masterclass in psychological suspense, blending eerie atmospheres with jaw-dropping twists. The story revolves around Alex, a young teacher navigating a new job at an elite private school. As Alex becomes entangled in the secrets of her students and colleagues, she discovers that nothing—and no one—is what it seems.McFadden crafts a gripping tale filled with tension and uncertainty. The secluded school setting, with its strict rules and unsettling undertones, becomes a character in itself, adding layers of suspense. Alex is a relatable and well-drawn protagonist whose perspective pulls readers into the mystery. The plot is fast-paced, with clues and red herrings expertly scattered throughout. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, McFadden throws in another twist that completely changes the game. The ending is both shocking and satisfying, leaving you reeling and eager to discuss it with others. The Teacher is a must-read for fans of dark, twisty thrillers. McFadden proves once again why she’s a master of the genre, delivering a story that lingers long after the final page.

good
The book start with slow, and later builds anticipation and anxiety. But unlike her other books you can predict the ending. However she have a sweet surprise for you in the end…JUST gives you sweet JUMP..with J…

Great book for thriller lovers!
This is my first book from this Author. “The Teacher” is a crime thriller of around 400 pages. I felt the writing style is amazing and easy for beginners. The story holds good suspense, twists and sometimes gave some chilling creepy vibes to me as well. The story is mainly about a couple - Eve and Nate. They both are teachers in high school and are married since many years, having on and off married life. The story also includes a high school girl named Addie. After reading the blurb, I thought the story is only about her but when I went into chapters, I came to know many more things. I love the fact that story has been told by many characters perspective. I almost guessed many things in the story. I felt it like a high school drama where the exploitation of girl is shown. I loved the message passed via story.I felt, The story could have been little more matured. For a thriller, this was an average read to me. Story is good, suspense and spookiness is great, characterisation and narration is amazing, it is a fast paced and a beginner friendly book which should be read by thriller lovers atleast once.Am I going to try author’s other works? Definitely YES!

Freida McFadden does it again!
Freida McFadden does it again!I have been a hardcore Freida McFadden fan ever since I read The Housemaid. So, I was very eager for The Teacher to release. And I was not disappointed. The plot twists drove me crazy.I didn't know whom to trust in the beginning because everyone was messed up in some way or the other.I'll agree, the first half of the book was a little slow but it more than made up for it in the second half. And the epilogue made me close my tab, push it away and scream while my brother stared at me in shock.Definitely recommend!Follow me on IG @thedarkdoyenne 🤍

So as it is said that this book is unputdownable and it's totally 100% true. I can't put down this book the moment, I started reading it. It's almost 2 O'clock in the morning and I am writing this review for the book. I mean... It say all.

Good reading
I like Frieda’s writing style in simple English, helps Me finish book faster than expected. Completed this book in 2.5days. The beginning’s quite slow, not as interesting as The Housemaid series,Found a whole lot of descriptive feelings of a teenager in love, quite slow, tad bit boring in part 1, part 2 & 3 gets better, also the novel’s got 3 POV’s.Ending was not so thrilling, seems a little abrupt. Should have been better. But overall a good weekend read.
