This is a great kit to replace the batteries for the WF-1000XM4 earbuds. You also need a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive holding the earbuds together. Before starting, there's a searchable tutorial on youtube that I'd recommend watching so that you know what you're looking for and what to expect. It takes some patience to gradually separate and open up the earbuds. Using the included razor blade was helpful. It takes about 10 minutes or so to soften and form a gap.Once open, you'll see two tiny circuit boards sandwiched together and glued on top of the battery. There will also be a tiny flat ribbon cable attached to the circuit boards. Although you can disconnect the 2 circuit boards from each other and disconnect the flat ribbon cable, you don't need to. Just heat the adhesive that bonds the 2 circuit boards to the battery and carefully pry them apart. Be careful to leave some adhesive on the bottom circuit board side so it can stick to the new battery. After you debond the circuit boards, you have full access to the battery and can start prying it free. It's good to apply some more heat to soften the adhesive under the battery while prying it out. While installing the new battery, make sure the electrical contacts on the circuit board and the earbud shell are free of adhesive and you have a good electrical contact. After the battery is in, just reattach the circuit board and put both halves of the shell together.Make sure to check that the earbuds are functional before applying adhesive to bond the earbuds together. Use a clamp or rubber bands to keep the earbuds together for a few hours to allow time for the adhesive to harden and set. The entire process took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Good luck!

The glue provide was the not the best detached after assembly. Now I have just ruined the headset.Thanks for nothing. I should have bought the kit from " I fix it"

I received the package in a timely manner. All necessary items were included and worked fine. However the batteries had different writings from the pictures. It said 70 mAh instead of 75. Also it didn’t say 0.29 Wh. I installed one piece anyway and so far it works fine. Will check after couple of days.

These batteries worked great. Replaced after they just wouldn't keep charge anymore heated up the earbuds pop them apart replace the battery like new again. Sony wanted to give me a $50 credit to return them after I bought a new pair glad I kept them.

The batteries in the this package seemed to be identical to the OEM batteries. I replaced the batteries in both of my earbuds without a problem. YouTube has videos about how to disassemble and assemble the actual ear bud. I only needed the razor, tweezers, glue, and the batteries from this kit.The other little tools were nice to haves, but for my WF-1000XM4's.
