Purchases these for my dad. They are durable and a good price for the quality of product. Will purchase again.

It is the exact same type they had on me in the hospital without the MEDLINE stamp on it. Now that I have to connect one again, I wanted to try this one. I bought another type also just to have a back up in case these failed. both work well. (at least the first one outta both packs) I have over slept and had it full but it held together while I emptied it in a old clorox bottle.

We normally use Medline foley bags, Amazon was out of stick when we wanted to order more. Decided to try these. My husband says they are almost as good as the Medline foley bags. Two issues though....first one is the drain plug does not want to stay in the holder if the bag has more than 200 mls of urine in it, it keeps popping out of the holder. The second problem is the hose is about 5 inches shorter and thinner. If the company would fix these two issues it would be a great bag.

The urine drainage bag 5 pack is decent quality. I would not rate these excellent quality or medical grade just based on the fact that the bag material is thin. I have worked with 2000 ml urine drainage bags for about 20 years in hospital and urology office settings. The drainage spout is a little difficult to insert into the plastic holder. There is not much slack there when you remove it from the holder to empty and then return it into the plastic holder position. This might create some extra stress on the vinyl which could potentially lead to a tear or leak in the seal. The spout could also be a little difficult for someone to handle who may have dexterity issues. The spout has a T design which allows you to open and close the spout by pushing the blue part that you see on the spout. That being said, I did remove this spout and replace the port several times and it does feel like it gets easier each time to put the spout back into place. The tubing is thick and appears good quality. The urine bags are each individually packaged with lot and expiration dates along with being marked “sterile “. The package containing the 5 urine bags is marked “Made in China”. Overall, I believe these urine drainage bags are very good to have on hand if you need extra large size urine drainage bags. The 5 pack is very convenient. These are great for carrying as extra back up bags in case of emergency, for overnight use with a Foley catheter, or just if you like to have a fresh bag placed more frequently.

These bags have been horrible leak for no reason. They are to expensive to keep going through 3 to 4 a week

I normally use a BARD tray, then two weeks into the month, I will switch to a new, clean bag. I purchased these out of pocket as insurance was no help for a bit. They look like they would do the job, but as a Quadriplegic who wears a foley cath 24/7, I cannot take a chance on products that won’t drain properly. With other bags I am able to lift the tube and the urine drains into the bag immediately. This bag doesn’t do that. The urine stops at the chamber and drains into the bag slowly and causes it to back up into my bladder. Idk what the difference is, but it didn’t work for me. For me, the quality of this bag is terrible. I would move on to a name brand if I were you. A brand that you’re used to!
