Throw the Osprey Escapist 32 on your back, hop on your bike, and get away from it all. Anchored by a BioStretch harness and hipbelt, this low-profile pack is designed to keep the load balanced when descending rough terrain. The Airscape mesh backpanel provides ventilation when you’re grinding up the pass. Access to the main compartment comes via a convenient zippered front panel so you can see all your gear at a glance. A zippered divider at the base of the pack provides segregated storage for stuff you want to avoid commingling—post-ride clothing or perhaps a pair of sandals— with the rest of your gear. Additional features include a myriad of external storage options starting with three handy stretch mesh pockets—one on each side and another in the front. The hipbelt has twin zippered pockets for snacks and there’s a phone-sized pocket on the shoulder strap. A zippered external front pocket keeps valuables secure and a non-scratch glasses pocket protects your shades. The external hydration sleeve makes for easy reservoir refills. If you’re out after sunset, this pack features reflective accents and a blinker light attachment point for extra visibility. And if a sudden storm rolls in, there’s an integrated raincover always stowed in the bottom of the pack.

Great for cycle commuting
I originally bought the 22 L backpack for cycle commuting but it was too small. This one can carry a shirt, trousers, towel and shoes fairly comfortably along with toiletries. There are 3 compartments and one of those compartments can be split in 2. They've thought of everything with this bag though sometimes the number of straps to tighten and flatten the bag can get annoying. Overall, great bag, fulfils my cycle commuting requirements and use it at the weekend too.

Great bag. Loads of space and features
Great bag. Loads of space and features. Well worth the money. Used once and it was as though I was riding without a bag on. Excellent fit and comfortable, can't praise it enough

comfortable with good levels of adjustment on the straps
Robust, light, comfortable with good levels of adjustment on the straps. Haven't used the waterproof cover yet so can't comment on that.

Ok, but a little disappointed with the capacity
Lots of compartments but not massively practical for traveling.I got this for work trips to avoid any checked in luggage, it's been barely successful but the main compartment for clothes isn't large enough for the amount of other stuff you can fit in there. Also in comparison with the helipro it's a massive step down in quality, despite having a lifetime warranty
