I was thinking of sitting between flowers when getting this special bench with planter beds at the two ends. It is pretty easy to assemble it, just paying attention to keep the slot vertical. Also note it is with planter bed without the bottom instead of planter box with bottom. In addition to planting flowers, it might also be a good idea to plant some vegetables like tomato, as it is deep enough with 18 inch deep sides. It says the main material is shorea wood, which is supposed to weather well outside without much maintenance. Expect it to last years.

I bought this planter box bench combo for my garden and so far am really enjoying it. Assembly was super simple (about 15 min) and included all screws and tools (hex). One of the screws had some tight threading so I needed to use an Allen wrench from my toolbox to tighten it. The build quality of the wood is solid and looks nice. I’m 200 lbs and sat comfortably on the bench. One thing I wished was there was a bottom to the planter boxes, but overall I’m satisfied.

I always hoped that my delivery package would not be left on the ground. This chair can be used both as a temporary parking package and as a decorative facade. I like it very much :）

Nice quality and very easy to install!! I was thinking to plan some flowers in this garden bed.But it seems like better to be a storage at my back yard.it’s great to have one thing and it can use in a different way.

Exactly as advertised. Appears sturdy. Looking forward to planting this spring.

Update: Costumer service reached out and helped problem solve. Sent a replacement and the new bench is beautiful. Excellent responsiveness and made it right.Unfortunately didn’t have time to assemble until after the return window and the seat is so warped it’s not functional.

Wood slats are warped and glued SO much that the glue is seeping out from the joints. The item listing pic shows a plant in the boxes area but there is NO bottom so I don’t know how they planted something in it. It’s too big and heavy to send back.

This bottomless design is really great, providing unlimited possibilities for rooting down. The middle bench stand is also very flexible and can be put away and put back up when needed. If I don't sit on it for a long time, I don't have to worry about dust.
