We have really enjoyed it and I plan to send it with my son when he returns to college in the fall.First and foremost, it's quiet, almost soothing. I ordered two of these cooling fans and they were delivered today opened the first one that was not wrapped in plastic at all, and the product was wet, so obviously had already been used. When I opened the second one, it also had been used and had a very musty, dirty smell. Probably the worst product condition I’ve ever received

I was under no illusion that this would be a heavy-duty room air-conditioner that will serve me well during the hot humid days of peak summer in Oregon. However, what I received was a pleasant surprise in a small portable form-factor. Bottom line is it is worth the money.Package – I was impressed with the minimal packaging; the cardboard outer package fits the air-cooler in a compact manner and is completely recyclable. Just one recyclable plastic bag, the connecting USB cable and a user guide (that could have been printed on a larger font, on a larger piece of paper, please).Usage – I first ran the fan on a 65W laptop charger. All functions checked out well, no surprises or failures. The noise level at the 3-dot speed was the only sound that was recognizable from a distance of about 8 feet, maybe just as much as a ceiling fan perhaps. The lights that cycled through the colors is a cool feature, but I am unsure what purpose it serves. The mechanical arm that adjusts the air flow direction seems a bit old-fashioned, with new designs that are rotational.The water feature for me is going to be rarely used and only on extreme hot days, my experience with such water-spray coolers is that they also build up humidity in the room. The user manual should have included a caution about how much and how long to use with the water spray.I was skeptical whether the fan would work on a power-bank. I ran the cooler on a 30000mAH power bank, it was still running after about 2 hours. This is especially good for travel and camping. I liked that it worked well with the power-bank.Improvements – the sticker that has instruction about “long press …” should have been included in some other way, maybe a print on the back or side. It does not look nice and It will likely fall off sometime later.

The AC is only as cold as the water you put in it. I should have just bought 2 large fans for the same price. The mist is cool I guess but it doesn’t really do anything. The quality is the same cheap plastic as a larger fan, lighting sucks but I didn’t really care about a light when its purpose was supposed to be to cool my apartment. It’s actually a hassle to use because you have to refill the water every 30 minutes. The only reason it’s a 2 star and not one is because it would be nice on a desk but not for the price to size ratio.

Item was packaged, although a bit messy (cord a loose bundle thrown on top) After removing the fan itself from the plastic I noticed what I thought was a scuff, turned out to be a dirt smudge, there were several. Then when I opened the well to make sure it wasn’t filled with packing material, I was greeted with about 1/2 a teaspoon of water splashed about the interior. I’ve set it up, and it’s running. The instructions are easy to follow despite the grammatical errors, it is not loud, but it isn’t silent either. Make sure you have a plug, it only comes with a usb cord. I purchased this item for my home office. It is located in the corner upstairs and in direct sunlight almost all day. Thanks to a very affectionate dog and zoom meetings , I can’t leave my door open, so it is usually the warmest room in the house… sometime uncomfortably so. To date, I’ve just had a desk fan, and am hoping this little thing will do the job without the noise and windstorm.Just checked the room, and there is a noticeable difference, I have it on the floor, and don’t see any dampness on the floor in front of the fan, so I think it will do.

This evaporative cooler delivers on its promises - it has both evaporative cooling and regular fan options. The timer is a neat feature, but not essential in my opinion(I have tested it-the water tank will run out of water before the 2 hours mark way sooner). An important thing to consider before you buy is the climate you'll be using it in. Evaporative coolers, including this one, won't work well in high humidity areas. That said, during a recent heat wave with average humidity around 56%, it still provided some cooling relief if you were seated directly in front of it. While it won't replace an air conditioner, it can be quite effective in drier climates. One word of caution - I recommend placing a paper towel or rug under the cooler to catch some minor water leakage I noticed from the side seams.

This machine has no driving force behind it. If you just have the fan on then maybe you can feel some air, but if you use any of the other features like the water blowing feature there is no air power at all. I am so disappointed 😞 I threw away the box or otherwise I would return it. I hate it and the bad part is ìt wasn't even for me, but rather my overheated puppy dog. I wish I knew of an alternative.
