I inadvertently removed over 100 years of patina from antique drawer hardware . This stuff saved me! Soaked each one for about 10 minutes then after they dried, I rubbed with 4-0 steel wool to restore the shine and buff some areas that were too dark. The handles actually look better than just being very dark with age.
