Bought as a like for like replacement for a broken casement stay. The screw holes were in a slightly different place to the previous one, but easily fit and feels sturdy. Good product.

The only problem is that there weren't enough screws include in the package. We bought 3 items and there were enough screws for just 1 item.

Please don't waste your money or time!!!!
Can't bear the fact I've had to give one star to leave feedback as these deserve minus stars.These stays may look good but are absolute rubbish, terribly brittle and snap under the slightest pressure. Ordered 3, 2 have snapped and don't hold out hope the 3rd will last. Hoping it lasts long enough for the different replacements we have had to order. My husband, who is a carpenter by trade so knows what he's doing, fitted these as he would any of the hundreds of other window stays he has fitted and couldn't believe how the cheap casting snaps where the holes are on the arm.DONT BOTHER, wish we hadn't!

Defintely NOT what is says on the advert
The selling page equates 11" to 260mm as a length for this item and these numbers are not equal lengths for a start. Furthermore the actual item is quite a bit shorter than either 11" or 260mm so the item was of no use to me at all. The packet stated it was 250mm (again differing from the selling pictures). False advertising here and I will not touch this company again.
