What a treat, love these.
These are great. The longer you chew them before swallowing, the more ginger zing you’ll taste. For anyone curious about 0 calorie label, even though it contains tapioca starch, I asked the Factory about it. They said:“Thanks for your message, and I’m glad to hear the latest batch of candies tastes so good! I understand your curiosity about the "zero calories" on the label and your research into tapioca starch. I am more than happy to clear any confusion. Tapioca Starch and Calorie Count: The Chews do contain tapioca starch, but it's used in small amounts as a dusting agent to prevent the chews from sticking to the wrappers. This amount of starch doesn’t significantly contribute to the total calorie count. The program we use to generate the FDA-compliant nutrition label accounts for the fact that the calories from tapioca starch (due to the small quantity used) are so negligible that they don’t need to be reflected in the final label. Essentially, the serving size is small enough that the starch doesn't impact the overall calorie count in a meaningful way. Allulose and FDA Guidelines: As for the allulose, it’s a key factor in the "Calorie free" claim. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), allulose is considered a "rare sugar," and it's granted an exception for food labeling purposes. This means that even though allulose technically has a small number of calories (about 0.2 to 0.4 calories per gram), it is excluded from the total calorie count on the label. The FDA allows allulose to be considered as providing "zero calories" because it has a minimal caloric impact when consumed, and it does not contribute to the glycemic index in the same way as regular sugar. Regarding your concerns about the tapioca starch being "not keto-friendly" or "heavy on carbs," while tapioca starch does contain carbs, the amount used here is minimal and doesn’t significantly impact the overall carb count of the product. The formulation is designed so that the chews remain in line with low-carb goals while still delivering great taste and texture. I hope this helps clear things up! Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. Best regards”

OMG all in for ginger chews of 3 ingredients that taste great & NOT give me a spike!
Finally a ginger product I can get on board with. For starters the packaging indicates that it is is indeed a ginger “chew” so it definitely has the quality of a chew and is not like a hard taffy texture as some of the other ginger chew products out there. Of course it is still a chew so it will have some sticking to the teeth, I have yet to find a gummy or any chewy product that doesn’t.Allulose has been making its way to the market and has been my go to since I found out because every sugar free product out there has some or all sugar alcohols which tend to cause nausea, gas, bloating and upset stomach. Someone who is part of the medical/science field, I have done my fair share of research into allulose properties and allulose has a glycemic index of zero meaning it will NOT spike blood glucose levels and it is NOT sugar. There are many sugar substitutes out there that either come from plants or fruits that do have the same chemical properties as regular table sugar such as fructose or sucrose. Allulose is not the same as fructose or sucrose. For someone who bakes a lot, I use allulose to make a 2 ingredient condense milk and a 3 ingredient caramel sauce for coffee and it is very believable that this product indeed has 3 ingredients only.I cook with tapioca starch and I know tapioca starch has a powdery but neutral taste and the ginger chews are lightly dusted in tapioca starch in comparison to all other ginger chews products that are covered in either powdered sugar or corn starch I would much rather have tapioca starch.I support small business who are producing quality products and deserve a fair assessment. In terms of packaging also when comparing to other ginger chews, they have put a great deal of thought into their packaging, overall product, quality and quantity because it is a whopping 1 lb bag which is very nice.

Best ginger chew you'll ever buy!!
I am addicted to these ginger chews!! They are sugar free. A guilt free candy for sure. The other ginger chews have 3 grams of sugar per piece. Too much sugar for me.

All bags are not created equal
I am doing a month long liquid "fast" of protein shakes etc. basically no food just nutrients. I bought these for when the desire to chew hits bc they are natural, no sugar, etc. and frankly I probably (no probably about it) chew more of them than I should. So it is with great authority that I can say that I agree 1000% with the reviewers that say these things are difficult to open. Perhaps that is a good thing if you need to back off of eating so many. I have given up more than once on trying to open these suckers. The other thing that is strange to me (I am on my 3rd bag) is that out of 60 chews maybe 15 are soft. The remainder are hard. I have gotten to the point that I can feel around in the bag for the soft ones and find them 1st. They ALL should be soft. Not sure why this is but I am guessing the hard ones are stale which is unacceptable for the price. The flavor is still good but the harder ones stick like glue to your teeth which is less than enjoyable.

Love these. Highly recommend!
Fresh, delicious, excellent texture and perfect chewiness. It’s got that ginger zing I love with just the right amount of sweetness. And the fact that it helps ease my stomach when it’s upset is a nice bonus.
