Amazinggg! Exactly what I was looking and oh so good in a hot latte! Packing was perfect, very competitive pricing!

The syrup was way too sweet compared to what I can buy in Hawaii. The main ingredient was sugar where the Hawaii produced ube syrup's main ingredient is ube. The HawaII-produced syrup is more expensive, but delicious. This syrup went down the drain.

Great flavor.

I consider myself an ube connoisseur. I love it in all its forms, and was excited to see ube declared “the flavor of the year” and Monin release ube as their new flavor. I buy ube extract, snacks, and jam constantly. This tastes nothing like ube, at all. For some unknown reason, Monin decided to mix cinnamon and fig in, and the syrup tastes exactly like a saccharin fig, with artificial cinnamon swirled in. There is nothing ube about this, except the purple dye. I am disappointed, and heartbroken.

This syrup is thick and sweet, a little bit goes a long way. I can't say whether it tastes like ube as I'm unfamiliar, but I do catch hints of cinnamon and a little fig. It's a good flavor! Just can't say if it's ube-esque. The bottle will last a long time, and it arrived without showing any signs of leaking.

I love ube, but monin syrups sometimes have this weird cinnamon-like flavor to them. Like super spiced. I don't hate it, but I don't love it.

The product came with a busted cap and bent spout. It was leaking inside the plastic bubble wrap: it was crystallized inside the bottle. I should add the box was fine and had no damage. So it appears it the bottle was already broken when it was packaged! I will note that the cap wasn’t completely broken off. I went to check the seal and it was barely a quarter turn before it was all the way open. So I think it was as dropped on its cap/spout area, mostly broke the seal and just wrapped in extra plastic wrap to hopefully keep it inside if it started leaking. I’m surprised you cannot return or exchange in situations like this.

I tried this in my tea and really liked it! To be fair, I’ve never tasted anything ‘ube’ flavored before and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t taste the cinnamon or vanilla; but not sure I could taste fig either. Just kind of a ‘different’ taste that I can’t really say tastes like something else. It was sweet enough that I didn’t need to add anything else. I think this would be good even over ice cream!The bottle arrived in good shape; not leaking or anything. The purple color was unique, but didn’t really affect the color of my tea. Made it a little darker; but not ‘purple’. I’ve had other Monin syrups and liked them all, so far.The bottle is huge! One liter (33.8 oz) and you don’t have to use much to get a nice sweet flavor. This will last a long time. It’s a winner in my book and I’ll be ordering it again.
