McGraw-Hill Education 500 Regulation Questions for the CPA Exam (Mcgraw-Hill Education 500 Questions Series) 1st Edition

A great book to help you get started and familiarize yourself with some of the concepts. Purely multiple choice questions. At first i thought it would be irrelevant since its from 2015 but all the same concepts still apply. the only thing that changes are some of the numbers for each year but those numbers aren't really tested on the CPA exam (the ones adjusted for inflation). I would definitely recommend this book if you are studying for the CPA exam as a supplement but this book on its own won't get you through the whole exam (i recommend getting a course). It is a great tool to have on the go to review anywhere. Most other review books are over $100 so this is definitely a great deal for the price you get it for and the questions cover a broad range of topics.

the questions are tough, structured like the actual exam questions, and come with answers+explanations. This is a great way to help prepare for the test. If you're lazy and having a hard time committing yourself to studying with an exam prep book for 2-3 hours, this book is great because you can do 4-5 questions everyday while you're pooping and still get a lot of information from thinking through the question and going through the answer explanation

Like the rest of the series, this book is high quality in a small package. No CPA book available today is the ultimate guide, but this is a great tool to learn many of the key points.

Very nice book with 500 questions and answers. Light and about the size of a dvd case. Make it very easy to carry.

I was kind of disappointed with this book. I used the Financial one from this series and loved it. REG went a bit differently. I found out that the tax law in the 2015 version is from June 2014, this book was published in August 2014, I believe. The law was current at the time of publishing but not at the end of 2015 when I purchased it. From the timing, it looks like MG Hill tries to keep up, but I could fail my test because of this. The last two testing windows of 2015 tested current year tax law. I sent an email to MG Hill and did not get a response. I'll be looking for a way to get written MCQ since I am a GenX learner and don't like MCQ online. Bummer!

Nice set of questions, very reasonable price. I downloaded it to my phone and got right to work.
