Treeline Cheese - Vegan Cheese Assortment - You CAN have it All!

So, where do I start. The background to this review may not mean much to you but it does to me. About three years ago now I became allergic to milk. I lost so much fluid in five minutes that I almost passed out. The first time I passed out I actually thought I had food poisoning. I have since found substitutes for ice cream, Cado but I don't know who makes it. But the cheese has been very elusive, and I haven't been able to find something equal to it. Well, part of the problem is that I am also allergic to palm kernel oil and coconut and there is no vegan alternative cheese almost, made without it except this one. I bought the assorted sample pack with sour cream, cream cheese, goat style, creamy onion, ricotta, pimento, and aged pepper cheese wheel. Treeline actually makes wonderful cheese alternatives!Flavor wise, the only one I didn't like was the ricotta. Being Italian, the flavor was just off. It just didn't have that lightweight sweet and vinegar flavor. Because of this you really will have to make your own decision on it. The aged pepper cheese wheel is so good it truly has a cheese texture and flavor to it. this would be the excellent cheese you miss on a sandwich, your version of a hamburger, or on crackers. The goat style cheese is softer but has the closest to cheddar flavor. The sour cream is pretty close to the right flavor, and I had mine on some homemade falafel I had made. It was good and I expect it to be just as good on a baked potato which I will try next. Also, it would be good I think, as a tzatziki sauce, thinned out and dilled if you don't have yogurt. The cream cheese and onion, and pimento are all good cream cheese like textures, and I loved the flavors.I don't know how any of them caramelize right but I'm not desperate for it though. For ricotta I may try tofu with vinegar and salt because I think I'd get a better texture. The cheese wheel I think would shred nicely.If I have a complaint, it's that most of them have lids but some do not. Obviously, it can be dealt with, but something closeable would be nice.I hope they get this review because I'm very thankful for these cheeses and they arrived early, by a day, for my birthday and what a good day it's been. I hope God blesses them in return.

I bought the charcuterie pack direct from the manufacturer. It arrived hot, the freezer blocks were completely melted. The pimento and scallions both have a very strong vomit flavor. The cheese wheel is ok in taste. The sopraseto meat stick taste like any seitan you could make at home. Not sure if the 2 I tried that taste like vomit was because they were not refrigerated when arrived or that is just the taste.

This product is so smooth and delicious, tastes like it has all the dairy, but doesn't! Shipping was super quick, absolutely will buy again. Thank you!!

Wonderful substitute for cow milk products. Doesn't harm my digestion and works for pasta sauce, dips, soups and sandwiches. Great value!

Wasn’t sure if wife had an allergy/intolerance to dairy so tried this. It was very good and tasted a lot like the real thing. Would recommend.
