These flaked almonds come in an handy plastic tub with a well fitting lid to keep the contents fresh.The flavour is nicely nutty with a sweet almond taste, and the texture is as you would expect from freshly flaked almonds. They are very handy to have in the 'baking cupboard' for baking or adding to cereals etc. My only gripe is the price – these have rapidly gone up from £3.99 to £5.99 and now £6.99 for 140 grams. Most supermarkets will be under £3.

Arrived exactly as pictured in a plastic tub. Contents are 140g, date of expiry is Dec 2024 and no country of origin is stated. I personally have a nut allergy so unable to test these. Those in my household who have tested have told me that the nuts are fine and taste exactly how you would expect almonds to taste, not rancid.I’ve marked down one star purely for the price. These are currently priced at £3.99 which is more than double what you would expect to pay in the supermarket. These come in a plastic tub as opposed to plastic bag so these is less opportunity for the delicate flakes to get crushed

The media could not be loaded. Because they're so finely sliced/flaked there seems a HUGE amount in the tub. I like almonds but I'm not a great fan of whole almonds, no idea why, and my husband doesn't like almond flavour - I think that's because so many almond flavoured things use artificial flavouring. But he likes these. The flavour is delicate but unmistakably almond, and being finely flaked they're very easy to eat - the thinner flakes almost melt in the mouth.They are very suitable for snacking or cooking. I'll mostly be adding them to my morning Greek yoghurt and berries or porridge. My husband will be adding them to his granola. I probably won't snack on them too often as I tend to get a bit carried away when eating nuts, especially Brazil or walnuts.They're in a resealable tub (for freshness) which is much better than bagged, and the tub is recyclable. Win, win.At £3.99 for a 150g tub (as at 11 February 2024) I think this is a reasonable price to pay.

Finely sliced nuts I am using these when I make Bakewell tarts. I have also used them on an apple sponge, they come in a resealable see-through tub with a very good date of December 2024.i think they are expensive

These sliced almonds are well packaged in the tub, there were no broken ones in the tub I received. The best before date was Dec 2024, so 11 months to use them.The price at the time of this review has decreased to £3.99, which puts it more in line with other sellers but still more than supermarkets.The crunch and taste is good, and they are certainly fresh, just a little bit expensive.
