I lost my original JBL charger and was able to use this and get super fast charge! Worth the buy.

Not JBL -
When buying, I specifically searched for a JBL cord. Expecting a quality charger, I waited. Surprise a very cheaply made-poor quality cord arrived. How is this legal? Deceptive photo and misleading labeling. Don’t make the same mistake. You’d get the same charger at the dollar store for less money.

So far so good
I had a little "tussle" getting the plug into the charger (no problem getting the plug into the JBL speaker), but just before giving up--in it went. Will probably just leave the cord in. Speaker charging happily now, so 4 out of 5 stars.

I bought this cord because It had JBL on the charger, the one they sent is the cheap stuff you get from gas stations
