Kenmore Dishwasher Touchscreen Model
1st impressions are great so far. My husband did the install. His 1st dishwasher install ever. He did say the instructions weren’t model specific, which annoyed him at first. After a little time he got the hang of it, though. We did a small search over a holiday weekend for a replacement dishwasher on sale. After searching the big box store websites, we came over to Amazon, and this one was sponsored and right at the top of the search. It ticked all my general boxes and then some, while staying in our exact budget. I didn’t think I could get a stainless inside under $500, but here it is! I’m actually pleased with the way the door opens and closes and the touch screen. I think the inside is large and I like the silverware basket. It is quiet enough for a dishwasher. Probably quieter than my last model. There are 6 different cycles to pick from, including express and smart wash. You can also add options to the cycle like sani rinse and half load. There are 5 options in all. They have printed the options and cycles available on the top of the door for quick reference as well as on the touch screen. We really like that. The touch screen itself is very sensitive, so I noticed even walking past the screen too close when on might pause the cycle accidentally. Look for the flashing bubbles. That means the cycle paused. The trays/racks seem very sturdy to me. All in all, we are very pleased. The Amazon delivery service was prompt and courteous, too.

Don’t do it!
This is junk. Did not come with a user’s manual. The installation manual is junk . The water hook up is insane and takes several trips to the hardware store to accomplish. After 2 weeks, the washing arm seperated from the rub. I called Kenmore customer service. What a joke. They lost my communication after I I took photos per their request. The control panel has never worked properly. My wife is screaming at me because I trusted Amazon. Go buy a dishwasher where you can see it, touch it, understand how it works. I blew 500 bucks on this and it never worked properly. UGH if I could give it and customer service a negative 5 stars, that would be it. I’m an aircraft mechanic and thank god this thing doesn’t fly.

It is very quiet
I purchased to replace my dishwasher where the impeller began to break up inside. It sounded like gravel in the blades when pumping out water. The install was easy and they give you foil decals to protect the underside of counter top from steam. Also rubber side strips to block sound. It does a great job cleaning and is very quiet. The touch screen has a delay when turning on and is responsive. You can adjust cycles and other settings and shows time left. It turns off after 15 mins but can be set to always on. The top of the door shows what the icons mean on the display. I gave a 4 because longevity is unknown. The wash arms are narrow. It does have a very easily accessible filter inside that catches large food particles. I know electric motor technology is advancing rapidly but the motor seems small. Overall for the budget minded this is a good choice. I have two in my household. For a large family you may want to look at a beefier model.

Great dishwasher - quiet, efficient and versatile!
The media could not be loaded. After years of using an inefficient, noisy dishwasher, we finally upgraded to a Kenmore, and it's been a huge improvement. The price was within our budget and had great reviews, so we gave it a shot. The storage options are excellent—the top shelf has many options allowing for smaller plates and more room on the bottom. We especially love the silverware rack, which keeps everything organized and ensures straws and utensils are cleaned thoroughly. The stainless steel design fits nicely in our kitchen, and setup was a breeze. You just hold the start button for a second, and it’s ready to go. The smart wash cycle ensures everything is cleaned efficiently, and the extra dry feature leaves dishes cabinet-ready. The best part? It runs so quietly that it does not disturb us doing other activities around the house. Overall, it's been a great upgrade, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable dishwasher.

Good product.
Works nicely and quietly. Delivered quickly. I do recommend. Takes a good load of dishes and they get clean.

Instructions are terrible and functionality is random at best.
The manual that comes with it is useless. The pictures are black and white on gray paper. You can't identify much. The power button works about 1/3rd of the time and none of the other buttons seem to do anything. I use the term button extremely loosely. They aren't buttons at all and sometimes you press, sometimes you rub, sometimes it does nothing. It's incredibly frustration to try to operate.

No power cord, poor instructions, missing parts
1. Power cord is NOT included.2. Instruction booklet is poorly written and vague. Took 4 hours to install.3. Instruction booklet text and images are so small the details are nearly impossible to read, figure out.4. No protective plastic wrap on front to protect from scratching, which is almost unavoidable during installation.5. Missing 3 parts (clasps) used to attach 2 interior shelves. See pic showing only 1 of 4 needed clasps.6. If back leg is extended too long it will leak out the front.

Value Dishwasher
Purchased machine to replace an older GE model that performed poorly from the day purchased 9 years prior.Kenmore was on sale at a good roice and met the needs based on description.CONS: The unit appears to be basic and entry level. The door seems light and flimsy as do the trays inside. Difficult it select options and manual does a poor job helping to troubleshoot (perhaps YouTube cam help)PROS: Value, quiet, and holds a lot of dishes. Wash cycle is quick and efficient (compared to our older model). Fits well with our decor of all black appliances. Good value for the price paid.
