Great portable EVSE supports 8A-32A
This is a really good EVSE that works well with my Hyundai Ioniq 5. It connects with Wifi to the Smart Life app, which I already used to control Wifi outlets. Once connected, it updated the EVSE to support current ranges from 8A to 32A, with 8A-12A supported for 110V. The screen shows total kWh and the current amperage being used, then the display continues to show the total kWH after charging is finished, until I unplug the EVSE J1772. It includes the adapter to go from the 5-15P plug to the 14-50 plug. I am using it as a portable EVSE I use when I am away from fast chargers and have outlets at my disposal. I also bought an adapter that should allow me to connect the 14-50 plug to a dryer outlet.I've used this charger a few times at 32A, and noticed that the cables and box only get a little bit warm. Nothing alarming. There is a temperature display in the readout, and it said that it was up to 90 degrees.While the charger is charging, the Smart Life app shows the live voltage and current, and the app can start/stop the charge if necessary. However, I rely on the car's built in scheduling to start/stop.

The media could not be loaded. As you can see it works as it’s supposed to. To be able to turn on and off via app is a bonus.
