I can't even thought this tiny tools will be so useful..it says only for garlic skin peeler but I use for onions too..my nails r happy 😊 no breaking like use to be ..thanks who invented it

I got these and I was very excited to use them. The tongs are flimsy and ineffective. I ended up having to just do it the way I normally do. It does not peel the garlic well at all and when it does peel, it leaves much of the shell on the garlic. It actually made it more difficult to pull the shell off because it left thin layers of the shell on the garlic pieces. I don't know what the other positive reviewers have experience, but I certainly would never buy these again. I am returning them.

The claws have sharp ends so they grab the garlic skin.I like lots of garlic. Usually when I only need a few cloves, I just slice of the ends then crush the cloves so the skin separates easily. Crushing the gloves also make it easier if I want to chop/mince the garlic. When I want to peel 5 or more whole heads of garlic, I usually put them in a plastic or metal container (with a lid) and shake the h*ll out of them -- presto! Skin off garlic but it's a pain to separate the skin from all the garlic cloves. With more practice, I hope to be as fast as that lady in the video in peeling the skin off several heads of garlic.

The media could not be loaded. The tweezers work great for garlic but even better for removing seeds from jalapeños. The only problem was that I had to smooth the sharp edges where you hold them.

I love garlic and I love kitchen gadgets. I have been through so many garlic gadgets and have been unhappy with most of them, so I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular from these and thought they might be more useful for peppers or other things.Well, I was surprised. I was making garlic soup and having to peel 60 cloves for it so this was a pretty solid test and I have to say that it worked really quite well. I could snip off the end and just peel the skin right off. I usually smash them to get the skin off but this (when I did it right) is just as good. They also go through the dishwasher with no issue - I am quite happy with this addition to my kitchen.

These do not work as stated. They're cheap and flimsy. They're not sharp or strong enough to cut the bulbs off the tops of garlic.
