I needed a desktop stand to help create a bit more desktop real estate. This stand was the perfect fit for my needs. It's beautifully designed, well-make with quality materials, and assembles in less than 5 minutes. A metal bar run across the underside of the wood top creating extra reinforcement. I've no doubts it will hold my Apple monitor without bending. My 14" laptop fits length wise on the lower shelf. The shelf is lined with fabric to prevent scratching the surface of whatever is placed on it. The lower shelf can be installed on either the left side or the right side. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and it looks great in person.

was easy to build. screws were a little annoying to screw in because of the angle you have to get in to do it. After that (took about 12 min in total to build). looked great on desk. small scratch out of the box luckily it was in the bottom side. Even if it didnt have the discount it has, i would still buy it at full price. totally recommend. feels and looks great.

I immediately set up the monitor riser upon arrival and while it was functional, there are a few things to note:1. The veneer edges came chipped.2. The shelving requires a clearance of 13.1 inches - this is fine for most devices but a suggestion would be to make it 15-17 inches for other laptop sizes. I wasn’t able to use the shelving for this reason.3. The third leg does eat up space so it would be better to have a U-bracket to secure the shelving and put a low profile third leg in the back.4. Colour is too light for black walnut so I will need to stain this to the desired shade.5. Would be good to offer black metal legs for most desk color combinations.Overall, functional and fits my setup but could do with some improvements.

Wood came severely scuffed in the front and the back. In addition, one of the bookshelf end did not latch easily. A hammer was required to lock it in place. Finally, the allen wrench they included was not ergonomically appropriate for the various screw angles. What seemed to be a straightforward build resulted in a longer than expected installation w/ damaged material.
