Heybike Explore
This bike is pretty fun, pretty comfortable. I think the only complaint I have is that putting it together by yourself is a little hard. Putting the bike together with at least one other person would go a lot faster and would be easier. The worst part about putting it together was probably the front wheel; the front wheel was EASY to tighten down and to secure but getting it into the right position to tighten it down was a little tricky. The only things you have to assemble is the front tire, handlebars, seat, front fender, and the headlight. I had PRETTY much no problem putting it together, but I could see other older men or women having trouble putting on the wheel and maneuvering the bike. The bike has a back rack comes already installed and looks very "beefy," looks as if it could hold a good 80lb (36kg) worth of weight. The handlebars were also pretty comfy and felt very good. You can get a front basket which costs around $50, and the bike comes with the screws preinstalled into the bike for the basket. On the right handlebar there is the speed selector along with the twist throttle acting like a motorcycle. In the back of the bike there is a red light for safety, and whenever you brake with either brake handles the red light flashes, one nice feature I thought. The bike also comes with a small LCD in the middle of the handlebars to indicate your speed, trip, odometer, average speed, battery life, and you can also dim the display. One thing I think I would like to see is a headlight indicator. To turn on the headlight is a button on the left handlebar and to check and see if the headlight is on during the day, I would have to put my hand in front of the headlight; not a big issue, just one of the smaller things that would make this bike even more awesome. The battery is also detachable for easy access, maybe to charge when your at work, or something I like is if the battery's life is noticeably getting poorer and poorer you can buy a new battery and which it out. No need to buy an entirely new bike. The bike is definitely not for smaller kids, the bike is very...large... and I posted a picture of my bike and my little brothers bike next to each other. WITHOUT the battery the bike is incredibly light. The frame is made out of aluminum with is lighter than most metals I believe. The bike also has a very strong motor coming in at 750W and the battery is your standard 48V 20Ah, like most electric bikes. This bike also get's up and GO'S, I don't weight that much but I mean, the bike pushes like crazy. The top speed with JUST pure electric is 25 mph but with pedal ASSIST it is 28 mph as advertised. And you can also go into the settings to lower the top speed for the pure electric along with other things. I want to also say that the acceleration is a lot faster than my old moped but I think that was only cause my moped had a convectional engine in it and not an electric motor. The bike also does come with an electric horn, the horn button is on the left handlebar, as seen in the picture, and it is pretty loud it's not too loud to be annoying or to scare you but loud enough to alert pedestrians or other bikers you might pass. This bike is amazing and would definitely recommend!

good performance and looks better in life
upon arrival battery was not fully charged (normal condition), assembly was easy, every single parts fit perfectly, Exception the front basket: the 2 screws on bottom/ lower side of the basket has very small clearance so hard to install the 2 screws, you need a straight allen wrench. The rear basket installation also pain you can tell its an aftermarket product. I will make some good brackets so its fits sturdy. If you cant fabricate your own brackets you are better off with the saddles. The manufacturer paid attention to most details weld-beads are looks nice and strong the bike turning heads in the park. I'm using it for goin fishing to local lakes therefor I have an extra 50-60lbs load, total of about 265lbs. Battery dropped form full to about 50% under 12.3 mile with one incline (overpass) I did not loose speed while crossing. Do not except max distance listed if you have similar loads. The motor is strong have to be careful on start bc it wants to do a wheele, acceleration is obviously good as well. With 210lbs load on full throttle it kept 19.8 miles/hr on flat road, have to say also fully loaded 265lb ish kept the 19.8mile/hr as well. I did not install the app as of yet. after a day of use I can not be happier.

Order them one at a time -uodated
I ordered this bike, and the Ranger model in a single order. The shipping experience was very confusing. Suddenly some boxes showed up, which were the basket and saddlebag. I never received tracking info for those packages. Then the shipment was delayed by a day, which is no big deal. Then it arrives, just one box. But I ordered two bikes.Anyway, the bike that did arrived is nice enough. The box was a little thrashed, but all the components looked fine. I didn’t find any major dings, dents or scrapes. Assembly was relatively quick, and pretty standard for a bike.Took an embarrassingly long time to find the keys for the battery. I set the battery on the charger and cruised the bike around, and overall pleasant riding experience. The shocks were set VERY soft, and bottomed out on the plastic wheel well when going on steep bumps at high speed. Will play around with the stiffness settings to find something I like.Overall, pleased with the bike that arrived, but a little confused they didn’t ship everything together. I don’t have a second tracking number for the other bike, and I haven’t heard back from the seller yet.-update: seller contacted me and confirmed second shipment and provided the tracking number. Response was quick and courteous.

Poor QC / Good Customer Service
Received the bike in good time and the packaging was ok. Started assembly on the bike and everything seemed ok til I got to the back rack. The rear rack mounting brackets were so far out of alignment it couldn't be mounted. After an unsatisfactory bout with the vendor, I went ahead and finished putting it together and discovered that the seat post clamp won't tighten up enough to hold the seat up. Ruined the clamp attempting to adjust the nut up some more.I'm not going to attempt to get my $$ back. I'm going to donate it to a HS kid for a project.Updated review 03/31/24After some miscommunication and missed calls. Got together with customer service and they shot me new parts. The new parts worked perfectly and am happily riding. My only complaint is the thumb throttle. I'm used to the old twist throttle, the thumb throttle is a bit sensitive for me. Otherwise the bike performs beautifully with lots of power and torque from the 750 watt motor. Also for a smaller bike it actually rides fairly smooth with the front suspension and fat tires.
