Solid and Heavy
The bar is well-made and at 85 pounds, it’s solid. The lack of center knurling isn’t the issue I thought it may be. Setting the hands lower helps get your upper back shelf in place.Love it for high box squats and this bar insists you keep your core tight. The pipe and pin safeties are tough due to the cambered design but using Titan’s safety straps make it easy to use without fear of getting stapled. Great bar but get the straps too!

Not perfect, but a great bar nonetheless
I deliberated between a cambered squat bar and a safety squat bar, and ultimately pulled the trigger with this Titan cambered squat bar. After having used it for couple of weeks, let me list what I think are the pros and cons of this speciality bar, starting with the pros.Pros:1. This bar is solidly built! It's solid pieces of iron welded together beautifully. There is no hollow tubing here. As such, I have no doubt that it warrants its 1000 lb capacity claim.2. Its price. If you do a little comparison shopping, you'll see that Titan's cambered bar is clearly the least expensive option in the market - and it has free shipping as usual. (Also, Titan seems to be improving its shipping methods, as my bar didn't have any of the "scratch or dent" that sometime accompanies Titan products. Good job, Titan!)3. True to its claim, it racks beautifully on my (standard width) power rack. Now for some cons:1. Lack of markings or indicators on the bar to let the lifter know where the center is. This is not the complaint that there's no center knurling - for a bar that is meant to swing or sway a little as you lift, I think it is a good thing that it doesn't center knurling. Its main competitor, Rogue's cambered squat bar, for example, has a Rogue logo on the center of the bar. I think Titan could have done something similar with its logo. It would have beat eye-balling or guessing at the center. (This "defect" is easily fixed, however, with a tape measure and a silver Sharpie.)2. The powder coating throughout is "just okay." And in my opinion, I think it is pretty pointless to powder coat the sleeves, as they slowly scrape off each time you load and unload the plates. In conclusion, the Titan cambered squat bar is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable, solidly built bar that will probably last you a lifetime of lifting.

Built like its still 1950.
Buy this bar. There is no debate. One could say for the the price this is great, etc., because it is inexpensive. Truth is it would be a deal at twice the cost. Solid stock steel. No tube stock. Solid steel. I can still push 315 (I’m old) but my shoulders are shot. This simple design (MUCH better than a safety squat bar where my grip is still high) is the only way to keep my arms low and my squat weight decent. I would give it more stars if I could. If you’re wondering and have bad shoulders don’t. Buy it.

Other than there is no knurling in the middle of the bar for squats, I'm pretty happy with it.
Compared to other cambered bars based on price and quality, the quality seems really good and sturdy. The best bang for your buck. Only negative thing I have to say is there is no knurling in the middle of the bar of it was being used for squats.

Great bar, great construction, great price.
At this price this bar was a steal. Great construction and welds, contrary to most comments about Titan's equipment quality. Has held up under heavy (+405) squats with no sign of bending or wear, and the black powder coating has withstood public gym use for almost half a year rather nicely. Only complaint would be that there is no knurling on the bar anywhere, which means you'll want to chalk up before using this bar if you're going to go heavier, otherwise a fantastic purchase.

It stinks
Broke as soon as I put a 25 on it.

I like this bar
I've had this bar for a few months now and I like it. It would be nice if it had some knurling to help prevent it from sliding down your back. I added some grip tape to the bar and this works well. I use the bar to do paused squats. Also the bar can't be used in my Rogue power rack with the safety stops so I use it outside the rack.

Titan specialty bar
Solid well built bar. Works awesome for my aching shoulder pain when I squat. I've been squatting (non competitively) for almost 30 years and this bar allows me to go heavy without 3-4 days of shoulder pain afterwards that the straight bar causes us old squatters. Great product for the money.
