Good fit and finish for what you are paying. Going to need a plunger to disengage the rod that holds it in place.

Does not fit Gov. 1911.
I carry a government 5" 1911. This was meant to be installed on it, but it would not go on. The retaining pin would not push in far enough to allow the bushing to rotate fully. Looks cool, but does not work for a standard pistol. Return was easy and fast.

Blemished, and probably shouldn't have been sold.
All in all nice Product.But upon further inspecting I noticed.A Gouge in the right Side, it's small, not too noticeable.But if you're a perfectionist you wouldn't put it on your gun You would most likely send it back.But Seeing where it's located most likely I will be installing it. Most likely I can fix but I don't.Think i'm gonna go through the trouble I'm only gonna give this 3 stars.Without the blemish, it would've been 5 stars easy.

Very poor quality, it broke the first time I used it, and I also lost the piece that holds the spring, now I'm going to have to spend more money to replace the spring lock.

Does not fit Rock Island.
Does not fit my Rock Island 1911 full size. The factory spring plug is too long to work and the free one they shipped with it is too large in diameter to fit in the slide. Might work on a colt.

Large but lightweight
This company is great for the money if size doesn't matter. It's very long but doesn't screw up the balance a bit. Works as advertised.
