Impressive!
Better build than expected and you use the separate whole ships to create the combined robot instead of completely disassembling like other sets. Awesome!

More for display than play
Space is cool. Robots are cool. Robots in space? Yeah, definitely cool. Make that space stuff that transforms into a robot? That's a winner. Unlike some sets where you take apart the small sets and use the same pieces to make a different model, the smaller models are used to create a larger one. They're designed with various hinges to easily come apart and snap back together, giving it more of a transformer feel. It's definitely not as simple as the branded toys from Hasbro where you flip the head down, rotate the arms, and now it's something different. This has a series of "take this apart, now reattach it here" that you need to follow. You'll probably need the manual a few times to make it work. The parts are decent quality. Not quite as "clicky" as LEGO but they hold together pretty well. One thing that other brands haven't quite figured out is creating larger connections. This has a lot of parts held on by one or two studs, which means that things tend to fall off during play, whereas the big brand creates stronger models that can zoom around the room without fear of a leg (or satellite) disconnecting suddenly. The sticker sheet is larger than the box, so it will come crumpled or folded. Depending on your luck, some of the stickers may detach from the sheet before you open it. I actually had to replace the set, as we were missing two bags of parts (everything for the satellite dish and some of the parts for another model), so make sure you have everything you need. I think there were eight bags the second time around, as some sets required more than one. Most of the bags were labelled with the corresponding model number.Overall, it's a really fun concept that creates a fun, interactive model. Weak connections prevent it from being easy-to-play-with and some stickers will be bent.

Neat but a bit weak on design
This is a cool building set that my little ones quite enjoyed building with my help but the final robot assembly is really the weak point on this. The 'transformation' is incredibly complicated and the parts don't match up so you end up with extra pieces in both forms. Once you turn it into the robot pieces like to pop off and the bigger pieces get in the way of posing. It is also super unbalanced so it falls over a bunch. Assembly is pretty straightforward though the instruction book is in super insanely small print. Bags did not seem to be organized but I might have missed the markings because they weren't super clear. Biggest problem is, again, the fragility of the final models especially the robot. Overall pretty good but probably better for an older kid who really likes this kind of building kit, otherwise it isn't anything particularly special.

Outstanding value.
Even if nothing else, the amount of pieces you get for the standard price are excellent. Beyond that, they feel as good as proper Lego bricks, and the build was very fun to do and the end result was excellent! Just awesome!

Great quality, lots of fun
I ordered this "HYG Toys Space Corps Robot Building Toy Set, 6 in-1 Transforming Robot Building Kit, Space Shuttle Toy Educational STEM Toy" for my 12 year old grandson Christmas. As in the product description it is a 6-1 transforming robot, meaning there are 6 separate robots that also can be assembled to create 1 large robot.I try to find fun educational STEM toys when possible. This is a STEM toy, my grandson has continued to talk about how much fun this was to assemble and has asked if I could buy him more. It took him only a few hours to assemble all of the robots. As you can see in the pictures, there are 6 completely separate smaller robots you build and can play with separately. You can assemble all 6 of the smaller robots together to make the 1 larger robot to play with. This set does have really nice quality parts. The manual has easy to follow instructions. I definitely recommend.

Not very sturdy
It's an interesting build for beginners. You first build individual parts and then combine them into a robot. The bags are labeled for each step. However, the manual was printed on small papers and hard to read. Also the robot form is not very sturdy. Some of the bricks are held together with little friction, and they start falling off when moving the robot around.

A hit with my 6 y/o
Introducing my son to this robot building kit was an instant hit—he dove right in and spent a solid two hours absorbed in assembly. I was amazed at how quickly he picked it up, managing to build three pieces with ease. The kit's straightforward assembly process made it a breeze for him to tackle independently, and the fact that the bags were properly labeled was a huge bonus, ensuring a smooth and frustration-free experience. It's been a joy to watch his creativity and problem-solving skills shine as he brings his robot to life piece by piece.
