Effectively powers a Dremel 8200
Dremel 8200- Battery fit well into charger and charged fully (in maybe an hour or two).- Battery was easy to remove from the charger- Battery fit in to the Dremel body without issue- Unit seems to run well with this battery. I haven't completely discharged it yet, but it's working great thus far.- Note: It was difficult to remove the battery from the unit on the first go. I had to gently use a pair of channel locks to get sufficient grip, but it has loosened up to the point where I can remove it by hand now with a little effort.- All-in-all, I'm giving this device 5 stars because it effectively powers my Dremel 8200, and Dremel no longer makes a battery for this model (I called them).

Great Battery
Works great and last longer than the 1.5 amp hour that came with my Dremel. They recommend charging and exhausting the battery 3 times when you first get it.

Fine battery. Does what it needs to.
I like to have 2 batteries for all my tools. 1 is always fully charged and the other is in use. This battery seems to last as long as the original and with equal power. It does a great job so that I don’t wind up having to leave a job unfinished.

Replaces the older Dremel 8220 battery!
It's a great replacement with a updated stronger power for the drill! It also ups how hot my Dremel tool gets! Be careful not to run it to long I'm sure it could burn brushes in the inside! Fits perfectly and is a great replacement for a great price! Stays charged longer and is pretty quick charging also!Highly Recommended! 😎

Used 1x, worked just fine. Tried it again a few days ago, shows charge - but does not run the tool
I am baffled by this battery. I tested with my DVOM, and it shows charge levels similar to the original Dremel battery. However, my Dremel no longer recognizes it (I don' think they use any type of digital signature for the battery authenticity check). I insert it, and it does not power up at all. I loaded the battery up with a 12V incandescent bulb, and the battery illuminates. What gives? If the vendor reads this, please reach out and let me know what you can do. The 1-year warranty has yet to expire.Update - so, I disassembled the battery assembly and started testing. One of the (3) batteries had an internal short - no ESR. I removed that one and soldered in a Panasonic 18650 with tabs. Now, 11.8v at the contacts. The LG industrial batteries in this product have a higher than expected failure rate? Anyway, disappointed I had to replace a cell, and sorry for those that have experienced the same and are unable to fix themselves.

Most important thing to know is that you get the battery that works for one third of price.
Works!

More battery life at half the price
Works as expected in my Dremel 8220. Having a spare battery means that I don't have to pause for recharge. This battery has longer running time than the standard Dremel-supplied battery, and costs less than half what the Dremel part costs. With both batteries fully charged, I start with the Dremel battery. Run it empty, put it on the charger, and install this new, longer-life battery. By the time this one runs out, the Dremel battery is fully charged and I can continue carving. The Dremel battery will run out before this one is fully charged, but by then I've done an hour and a half or two hours of carving. Time to take a break. If you have one of the battery powered Dremels, you need a spare battery. Rather than springing for the expensive Dremel part, buy yourself two of these. I wish I had bought two of them, 'cause then I could carve indefinitely without having to pause.
