Very good cost effective alternative to metal PRV
I bought this item as an alternative to my existing metal RPV which had started leaking a couple of months ago (after a maintenance guy mishandled it). Use case is to protect the pre-filter and water filter from high pressure of the inlet line in high rise building. Initially ordered an identical replacement PRV, which did not arrive (fortunately as it seemed later), after which I discovered this item in plastic material on Amazon at one third the price of the metal PRV. I was initially skeptical when I placed the order, and also after receiving it (no manufacturer carton or labelling/inscription on product). Nevertheless after installing it, I am happy with its performance. Easy to install. No leakage so far. You need to have an adapter from the domestic water line in your kitchen (usually 1/2" pipe connection) to a 1/4" pushfit connector (see attached photo) to use this item. If you already have a PRV installed upstream of the pre-filter (as I had), you will already have basic components of such an adapter. Else you will need to procure it separately. I had to do a bit of reconfiguring to acheive this after disconnecting the PRV. I did the installation myself, though services of a plumber would be generally required/recommended, if one does not have the tools/components/prior experience of such work. Disclaimer - No actual pressure measurements were made downstream of the PRV to say with certainty what the outlet pressure was, but it seems to be ok based on visual inspection and feel of the outlet flow, before connecting the PRV outlet to the prefilter input.

Must to have where there is problem with very high water pressure
The media could not be loaded. I was frustrated with constant pipe burst, leakage from prefilter setup. Tried multiple things, contacted couple of water purifier technicians, but nothing worked. Finally got to know about this PRV which reduces the water pressure to certain extent and also auto cutoff the water when there is no water flowing happening. Thought of giving it a try. Installed it today myself and can already see good results. Hope it works as expected for longer duration. Will update my review again after few weeks and months. Really happy for now.
