Excellent watch for the price

Met a friend on Xmas day who had been bought a Seiko automatic watch as a present. I was well impressed! By coincidence another friend was wearing a similar one that he had worn for 8 years and raved about its reliability. I was looking for a new watch as my old Seiko Kinetic had finally given up the ghost after years of abuse.Scouring the web and Amazon, I finally decided on this model(they all have similar movements) as I liked the unobtrusive look and attractive price.I ordered on 29th of December and have had the watch on my wrist for several hours today the 30th of December. Free delivery via Royal Mail. That's excellent service in my book!Looks superb, the see-through back is natty, it is relatively light, not too big, not too small, easy to adjust time and date. You could get confused as to when to set the time and date but it is common sense really.The enclosed guarantee is signed and stamped, which to me is also important. This could save a lot of hassle in the event of a fault.Don't worry about bracelet size. I had to take out 4 links for my spindly wrists. So will fit large and small. Took about 5 mins to do the job myself with a small nail/tack and thin nose pliers (I have done this before), tutorials on Utube.Only one downside: The retailer's specification states water resistant to 99 feet. According to the supplied booklet it is 3 bar and only suitable for water splashes and rain. I will have to check this out as I don't like having to remember to take my watch off when taking a shower.Last thing. Comes in a bare bones box. Excellent as far as I am concerned. Some presentation boxes are just a waste of the Earth's resources.Buy one!
