It's sturdy enough to keep a Shepard and a husky out of the room to give the cats freedom to come and go but have a space they can't be bothered by the dogs.It was super easy to setup and stretches across the door perfectly. Works great!!Don't forget it does have a locking feature that stiffens it up so when pushed against it isn't going anywhere. Just like the traditional baby gates but rolls up for less space used.

The media could not be loaded. Arrived by Amazon as expected. I'm a very "consistent" shopper. This product has not disappointed. It was as of described very easy installation. It looks good and does what I needed to do. I do have train dogs I'm sure if you have one that is mysterious and horse coil Pandora child the same they could probably rip it up with some work. My dog know that barriers me do not cross. This is going to be so great for what I want to keep them out of certain areas especially is when visitors come over and then maybe don't want dogs around. I definitely recommend this for anyone needing to block off an area for a rather a pet or a child. The lock is very easy to use it's a great value for the money. I followed the instructions and drilled and screwed in as instructed very it is very sturdy. Size is perfect and the push button makes it easy to take off.Update after having for a while:I have down graded my to 4 stars. The gate itself is nice. All i stated before about installation etc stands. The issue is as I have read other reviews the dogs and children that are persistent WILL go under the gate. The three dogs i have, only one is determined. It never fails when he decides he wants through his 65lb self goes right underneath. I currently have grandchildren visiting from out of state. One climbs over the younger two go right underneath. It is suggested that there be a way to secure the bottom better so it is not so easy to raise/move.

The easiest and best installation instructions I've ever seen.It would be hard to properly measure and mount for different brackets on opposite sides of an opening but they have you covered. There are bracket mounting strips that you can use and they have sticky tape on the back already so they attach easily, when you're done they peel right off and leave no residue and the installation is perfect. There is a quick installation guide and a larger more thorough installation guide that is very large and easy to see and read. And they give you almost twice as many screws and drywall anchors as needed so when you do drop one or can't find it it's not a problem.Installation was so easy and such a joy. I was so happy going through the installation it makes my entire Outlook of the product better.Once installed, easy to use. Locks and unlocked easily. Slides with ease. Enough of a barrier to keep kids in the dog on the side they're supposed to be on, but not so easy to climb over. It's a strong mesh, it breathes and moves air easily it's fairly firm, and it's see through but unlike a permanent or metal barred gate can't support you in order to climb over it. Easy enough to step over for adults.At first I was looking for something and thought the price might be a little high but it is worth every penny

My wife and I purchased this gate to keep our senior dog contained after suffering a lower back injury. It was easy to set up and even easier to use every day. Because of where we have our gate set up, we reached out to the company to see if we could order a set of just the latches so we could use the gate over two different doorways. The company doesn’t sell just the latches, but they were still able to help us out with our situation. They were quick to respond and able to help us in a way we didn’t expect. Definitely recommend the gate and the company.

Bought one of these as I needed something to stop my dog from going up the stairs, it's not the most pretty thing in the world, but it's super easy to use and I love that it can be removed with just the press of a button. The height is perfect and it feels really strong . In fact it's been so good that I ended up buying a few more for around the house. Easily worth the 40 it was at the time.

This is a perfectly fine mesh-style baby/dog gate. Installation was a breeze, especially with its included paper guides. It also seems quite sturdy, and there's essentially no gap along the floor. I use it at the top of my stairs, where the specific angles would make a more traditional baby gate challenging to install. It fits there great. There are, however, two drawbacks that make it fairly unpleasant to use:1) The winding mechanism is louder than I expected, and the retraction feels uneven. In most places this might not be an issue, but it's positioned outside the nursery and noise management is a real concern.2) There's a little handle along the vertical length of the mesh to make it easier to pull. This can be hard to reach from one side, so I really wish there was a similar handle along the top length. It wouldn't have to be rigid, but a loop of fabric would definitely make it less likely for a person to lose their grip, causing the whole thing to retract quickly and loudly.These aren't big enough issues to merit a return (and could be specific to my use), but I might have done extra research had I been aware.
