The same but more so
Season 2; what can I say, if you liked season 1 you should enjoy this.I was given season four, the final season, as a gift. I had seen seasons one and two previously but so long ago that not all details were clear in my mind. I purchased this second season in order to recap but have seen and understood way more than I did the first time round. That may be due to the fact that the first time I watched the series it was in its original language with English subtitles. For foreign movies I alway prefers to read subtitles - I have always seen Studio Ghibli animated pictures in Japanese with English subtitles first, only afterwards watching in English to see if the American dubbed version comes anywhere close to the original; it never does. With Attack on Titan there are definite benefits to seeing the whole thing with English dialogue. I don’t doubt that subtitles and details have been left out and the creators’ vision may be slightly muddied but it is so much easier to understand the greater picture. Thankfully the dialogue is delivered well. As before, I am enjoying the episodes but perhaps not as much as the first series. I have already embarked on series three (I could only find a dubbed versions so will not have the opportunity to see it in its native tongue). My love for the series has not waned and I cannot wait to get to to my gift and find out how this great saga ends.

A Masterpiece of an Anime!
If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. Attack on Titan is a masterpiece of an anime with breathtaking visuals, a beautiful soundtrack, gripping story and characters you become heavily invested in. Season 2 picks up right after the epic conclusion to season 1 and shows no signs of slowing down. If you enjoyed the first season, do yourself and favour and buy this! The bluray even includes a marathon version of the 12 episodes if you wanted to watch them all in one sitting. Very convenient.

Erin stops whining...nearly
Despite only being 12 episodes, this season has a lot going for it. There is more foreshadowing that implies a larger universe and motivations for both humans and titans and is increasing interest rather than just watching some people in a city being bullied by big folk. It's almost as if season one in itself is becoming a prologue rather than the main idea for the plot. Won't spoil but this season cemented my liking for AoT and pushed it up to being one of the most watchable Anime I've seen for a while. Delivery and package all good.

Must Buy!
Wow i'm absolutely blown away by these episodes. My only Criticism is that it contains 12 episodes while Season 1 Contains 25. Hopefully Season 3 has 25 episodes. Can't wait.
