Beko LSG4545W Freestanding Tall Larder Fridge

We love our new larder fridge. Plenty of room with bright led light. Arrived on time and good communication!

The fridge itself is great. Plenty of room and was purchased to replace our previous Beko fridge that had become unreliable after about 15 years (temperature had started to fluctuate, seal had gone and internal light has stopped working - it wasn’t the bulb, we checked it). The new fridge has a tendency to be a little noisy at times but not excessively. I ordered the fridge and paid for delivery, installation and haul-away so that I didn’t have to dispose of the old fridge.I have given it a 4 star as I am happy with the product but…BEWARE…The delivery was shocking. I was given three choices of date for delivery. Having picked three dates (9th, 10th and 7th in that order) I then got notification that it would be delivered earlier than expected on the 6th and NOT on a requested date. Spoke to Amazon customer service who assured me that they would get the date changed as we had plans to take the grandchildren to the zoo. However, at 6.15am on 6th I get woken with a notification telling me that the fridge would be delivered between 9.15 and 11.15am by ArrowXL. I had to get up and empty/switch off the fridge. I also had to cancel a trip to the zoo with my grandchildren. At 8.45am the fridge arrived. Then, to add insult to injury, the delivery men said that they didn’t have the paperwork for the haul away and refused to take the old fridge with them despite me having proof of paying for it. I found the one delivery man patronising… “ You have to understand, I don’t have the paperwork so I can’t take it.” And “Well, I’ve gone above and beyond, I’ve taken it out and left it on your drive. More than I’m required to do.”I then spent the next three days on and off the phone/chat to customer service. Ended up with a promise to collect the fridge on the Monday and a £20 voucher. The fridge wasn’t collected at all that week. I got an email from Amazon telling me that they couldn’t collect it and would refund my delivery charge. I then had to pay my local council to take it away for me.So all in all, the delivery was shocking, the grandchildren (2&4) were very disappointed and customer service were ok on the phone but not good at following up promises made. So much for their HAPPINESS GUARANTEE. I AM NOT HAPPY!Just as well the fridge worked and I’m happy with the product.

Just what we wanted, delivered on time to the room of our choice. good product for a good price.

This was purchased as a replacement for a 7 year old Model 1545 which suddenly gave up working after being temperamental for a couple of years.I've given this a 4 review, not for the product but for the misrepresentation of the item on the listing from Hughes Electrical, which illustrates a chrome bottle rack is several images.There was not rack in the fridge, so I checked the BEKO main website. The 4545 DOES NOT have a bottle rack.These are old images from the Model 1545.Luckily, we can simply swap the bottle rack from the old one.Always check the manufacturer's site for accurate descriptions, and don't rely on Retailers updating their listings correctly.

Only had the fridge a few days but so far very happy with it. Love the space and how quiet it is. Looks good too

We have a very limited space in which to fit this fridge with easy opening of the door. It met our spacial needs. The price was O.K. too. The delivery staff were timely and installed it with ease and took away our old fridge with no bother.

I bought this fridge as I had always quite liked BEKO fridges (we have a Beko Freezer too). It was a little more pricey than other fridges in the same range, but one of the features that drew me to this one was the fact that it included this cool wire bottle rack. I've always wanted one in our fridge because drinks take up so much space on the shelf.When the fridge arrived today, there was no wire rack in sight (even though the listing had it in at least 3 pictures, and one of them specifically for this).I contacted Amazon, thinking it was a mistake, so hoping to get one sent. After a long discussion with their Customer Service Live chat agent, they said they couldnt send the part, nor could they at least give a partial refund for the missing piece/s. The "best" they could do was give me the manufacturer's number.I contacted the manufacturer customer service dept at Beko and spoke to a man there - someone with a thick South African accent. I explained the problem and he basically treated me like I was making it up or something. He brusquely told me that Beko did not sell wire racks with their fridges. I explained that they must do because it was in their advert.He said that I should take it up with Amazon, because again, they dont apparently include them with fridges.So I said I would do, because that is a clear case of fraudulent false advertisement on Beko's part. There are clear images of the part being included in the fridge.So this is my first step - this review.Hopefully this will help prevent others from being stung by this fraudulent activity in the future from this company.I said at the start I quite liked Beko. That's no longer the case if that is the level of their terrible customer service.AVOID!
