Great face shaver, works well on upper lip hair, hair between the brows, cheek hair, and any type of face hair. Works both on men (even coarse stubble) and women (softer facial hair). Very easy to use, you don't need any face oil or shaving cream, I just run it over my face (multiple times over denser areas) and it takes less then a minute.The shave it provides is very nice, there is no stubble left behind, and no, it does not cause your hair to grow back thicker. Depending on how fast your hair grows back, you may need to use it everyday.Battery life lasts an eternity, have only had to change the battery once and I have been using this for almost a year now.As for cleaning, hair gets caught in a little trap that can be popped off, and you can scrape it out with a little brush and clean it further with a Q-tip. The little circular blades and that trap can start to stink after a while, because of all the dust, dead skin, and hair. But just make sure to clear the little trap of hair and wipe down the blades and the trap with rubbing alcohol.

We bought this for cruise ship travel. Hand razors are not allowed and we didn't want to spend a lot of money for an electric one that's only going to be used a few times a year. This is the perfect solution.

Update: We decided to give this razor one more try, because when it works it is great for our special needs son. Unfortunately, the third time was NOT a charm. We made sure to follow the directions for charging to a T. My son got a few shaves out of it before the charge ran completely out. We plugged it in and as soon as the light went from red to green (about 8 hours) we unplugged it and it would not come on again. All three of the razors we purchased stopped working withing a few uses. I do not recommend this product.We purchased this razor twice. The first time it last for a few uses. We liked the size for our special needs son so we purchased again hoping it was just a fluke. The second time it quit halfway through the first use. It would be great if it would work. Sadly, we do not recommend this razor. We are returning it.

Great shaver when on the move.

I had been liking this compact razor. I needed something for my travel kit that was small, lightweight, could hold a charge and give a close shave. It was doing great over the first six months - now it won't hold a charge beyond one shave. So I'm changing my rating from five to three stars.

I love this electric razor. It is the perfect size, and it is rechargeable. It works perfect for me as a women getting those annoying chin hairs, and the peach fuss.
