My key FOB was old, and the markings were getting worn. this cover was a great solution to bring it back to life. The only problem is, because of the added thickness to the FOB, it prohibits inserting the Key FOB into the FOB slot. It is also a bit of an inconvenience to replace the battery having to take off the cover and put it on again. But overall, it's a recommended purchase if you like look and protective cover feature.

The cover provides some extra protection against impact and dirt.This cover adds some bulk and thickness of which the buyer should be aware before purchasing it.My key and car are 7 years old so the fob already has the expected wear for that age but I'm certain that if installed on a new-looking fob this would help to preserve its new appearance.

This key fob cover will protect the Volvo key fob from drops without adding too much bulk to the fob. Be aware that you will longer be able insert the key into the car but I think for most of us we keep the key in our pocket or purse anyway. You don't need to insert the key into the dash to start the car, that is the whole point of keyless ignition.
