Hi, yes, if the pot is large enough, it should be fine. You start it with a 1L pot, and increase it to a 2-3 L pot next year, then a 7L pot the year after and then a 20L pot the year after and you end up with a 30-50L pot in 4-5 years time. Hi, It has not flowered as it needs more time to flower - please allow another year or two (this is not the fastest to start to flower) It is growing straight up because it was not trimmed to branch out - please cut it back Best wishes, Madeleine

Q: what size is the plant camsis Indian Summer priced at £8.99.

Mine is about 2 years old and is maybe 2 feet up the trellis - it has never flowered sadly and may be consigned to the compost heap this autumn if it doesn't improve! I have no recollection of the size when we received it but I don't think I'd order another.

Hi, thank you for your email. It is completely normal: it loses all leaves even earlier than that, if there is any frost. It may even die back half of its size in 1st Winter: also normal. It will look like a dead stick until March but do not worry: it will then grow 3-4ft at least from the end of March, miraculously get back lush and full of leaves, from the bare stick you have now!
