I am no coffee connoisseur but my first sip of this was kind of magnificent. Smells good, tastes good, definitely has caffeine. It’s coffee, it’s definitely coffee!

I wanted to see why Colombians love coffee so much, so I asked a Colombian friend to select one for me, and this is the coffee he recommended. After three trials of what strength I wanted, I am hooked. This coffee is a little pricey, but it is worth the splurge. The taste is pure and smooth with no bitter after taste whatsoever.

Taste is super

The roast is just too light. So It is a bit sour which doesn’t translate as brightness but more like unripe mango and most of the classic Colombian profile isn’t there. I have been roasting coffee for 25 years so I popped it into my roaster to take it to an actual medium roast, and the sourness tones down and the nuts and cocoa flavors emerge. The quality of beans is great because the flavor becomes more refined with a darker roast. I am not apposed to lighter roasts but in this case the roast isn’t where it should be.

The media could not be loaded. Great coffee ! Fresh bold full of flavor low acid . Very cool! Aka Chimba ! Highly recommend if you’re looking for some new coffee companies this one is great! I look forward to trying their other beans as well! I got the whole bean to have more freshness and it did not disappoint! YUM

I was just looking to try something new. I came across this unheard of brand. I was hesitant. But I'm overall very happy I did try it. The flavor is top notch, robustness and rich. I would highly recommend giving it a try.
