Better than Okay
I'm not some coffee snob, in fact, I'm not sure I know how to judge a good coffee from a bad one if I'm being completely honest. So I'll just share my thoughts and you can decide whether to care or not.The bag is pretty. The beans seemed fresh, and I grinded them to a medium... maybe medium coarse for an italian press using the Hoffman method. It was a smooth cup for the most part, though the beans had some flakes that were weird and not consistent with other coffees I've tried. The end result was a cup that was pretty smooth, though it did have a stronger bitter taste than some of the other bags I've tried recently.I did not catch a brown sugar tone to it, nor did I find any other tone. That's not necessarily indicative of there not being flavor, maybe I just can't detect it. I've been able to detect it in others, but not this one.I've been trying to drink coffee straight, and managed to get through a cup with no additives. I'm sure with milk, it would be phenomenal but just straight up I felt like it was decent. I would say, better than okay but not pretty good. This presents a difficulty in rating this because I don't want to give a 3 star rating, yet, I don't think it deserves 4. I would give a solid 3.5 if I had the option, but I will go with a 4.I'm curious how this would do as espresso and in the cold brew. My guess is that it would be alright as cold brew, but espresso would be hard to dial it in.

Very aromatic for grounds
These grounds were very aromatic. It has the coffee smell that is great to wake up to.The coffee itself, made in a standard single cup drip coffee machine tasted great. There was no bitterness and very low acidity in the coffee. Typically I need cream/sugar but with these I was okay not having any.I would totally drink this coffee again.

Great tasting ground coffee, tasted good to me. Enjoyable in the morning. Brownish medium ground coffee.

Quality medium-roast coffee with notes of caramel
This is very fresh, flavorful specialty coffee. It's a quality medium roast that hasn't removed the oils from the beans - they are a matte brown color, rather than overly shiny, and they grind smoothly. This results in a rich, complex cup of coffee, with definite notes of caramel and dried fruit. It isn't at all bitter, but it also is much less acidic than a light roast. It's very drinkable while also being a quality, robust cup of coffee.

Good, But Not My Favorite
This coffee was pretty good. It had a nice flavor, but it wasn't as interesting as some of the other coffees I've tried. I usually get single origin beans, and this one just didn't have the same unique flavors. It's a decent everyday coffee, but I probably won't order it again.

Get your Sharpie ready.
If you are going to call some personalized, honestly there should be something more to it than a little while space to write someone's name. I could write a name on a bag of SB, you can pick which SB, since there is white space. The coffee itself is better than one SB, maybe not the other. It's lighter than I thought it would be, which is a good thing, I prefer a milder roast. Overall, it brews a nice cup of coffee. If you're paying for the packaging, then it's not a value, not sure if the contents are worth it either. It should come with a Sharpie!

not fresh, not rancid
This review is for whole bean Cafe Para Ti specialty coffee.I cupped this coffee with others for comparison and brewed with aeropress a variety of ways.Coffee has light acidity, medium body (when ground medium/fine) and no overwhelming bitter/smokey notes. Could not distinguish any particular fruity flavors. Coffee had very little off gassing.
