This product is such a better, more appealing option than anything you'd find at any home improvement store. My only critique would be its made out of a thin PVC like plastic and they put a sticker on it that won't peal off and leaves glue and paper on it when you try to peal it off. Mine cracked as I was scrubbing it.

These are expensive and delicate. I would not put anywhere they will be kicked or furniture delivered g across.With that said, they are visually so much better on wall vents/returns. They have a nice style. They are paintable (be sure to primer first, the finish is not great for new paint)Can be hung with screws, but not too tight. 3m tape behind the edges works even better.

This is a pretty vent cover, but it didn't stick to my ceiling. I bought it to cover the fan vent in the ceiling near the shower. I followed the instructions exactly but it didn't adhere as promised. Then I got creative and tried many different ways to make it stick including sanding off the ceiling texture around the opening of the vent to make the surface as smooth as possible. I tried stickier options and nothing worked. It kept falling down and then broke because it is brittle. I really did like how it looked and wished there had been a workable solution. It really does need holes in it for screws. That's the most reliable option when attaching it to the ceiling. I'm disappointed that I now have to spend more money on a basic cover.

I wanted to give a better review but they put a brand sticker on the face of the vent and it was very difficult to remove. The adhesive was insanely stuck!!! If you purchase this buy goof off brand adhesive remover and remove the sticker before you start any of the instructions for installation, which involves caulking. Was a hot mess for me. The vent is plastic so removing the sticker was tricky because the plastic scratches. A big pain in the you know what but after all of that and after installing it looks good on the ceiling.

When we bought our house, our heating unit was literally in the kitchen exposed. So we ended up blowing the wall out and building a room around the heating unit.. Recently had an HVAC guy come in and tell us that the heater unit needs air flow and circulation so it can’t be closed off in a room. Suggested we put vents into the door. I didn’t want an ugly standard vent on the door so I bought this cover to at least make it look better. I thought the price is a little too steep for a thin piece of plastic, but couldn’t find anything similar in the size I needed so I bought this.

Looks great, used with a ventilation fan to pull AC into a small room. Attached magnets to vent and wall to make cleaning wicked easy.

So far, I have used these in one of my bathrooms and my daughter's room and as I go through the house and remodel each room, I will put these up as well. These come with double-sided tape, but they are fairly heavy so what I do is I use some dabs of liquid nails and then I prop them up with a big 2 x 4 overnight while the liquid nails dry and it works perfectly.these are completely flat on both sides and no holes for screws. You have to use the double sided tape or the liquid nails.
