I dip two boiled eggs out of hot water and very tiny drip; big enough to dip four eggs out of hot water.The handle is plenty long, and plenty of slots.

I purchased this slotted spoon to replace a plastic one. I was a bit reluctant as it is shallow and wide. However when using it I found it to be well balanced and the wide shallow bowl allows more items to be drained per “ spoonful”. It is well made and solid.

This is a good stainless steel slotted dipper except for the hole in the handle for hanging. This hole has some very sharp edges which could cut you. I’m using a file to smooth the edges of the hole in the handle. Seems to have corrected the sharp edges. It washes well in the dishwasher.

This skimmer is sturdy and a welcome addition to my frequently used kitchen utensils

I had bought another skimmer/ladle but it turned out to be too flat to hold eggs without them falling off so I returned it. This one has just a little more concavity so it holds four eggs at a time well allowing me to lower them gently into the hot water. It also works well for getting them out when they're done.
