Keeps grandkids occupied
Plastic housing. Battery charged within 1-2 hours. The remote looks and feels cheap but works. Rechargeable batteries come with truck but it says to use alkaline in the remote. Headlights come on when driving it. Crane extends and it raises. Able to backup and make turns. The crane boom can be turned more right or left with switch under the truck, but it's only done manually. The grandkids stay occupied playing with it for hours. The dogs like to chase it around. For the price its a good deal and worth the fun the kids have. We will have to see how long it will last.

Great for adult fun too!
The media could not be loaded. The remote control crane has pretty spectacular packaging the way the box, coloring and wording is designed. It has the real world feel of being around actual construction trucks and equipment. Id say that set my expectations pretty high. I was not disappointed at all. The crane came with 2 lithium, rechargeable batteries which is very nice to see a company recognize that we’re probably going to want to play with and inspect it right away- and the other battery can be charging! I didn’t charge the battery I first put into the truck for that very reason. My grandson and I were too eager to wait hours for it to charge! We put the spare one on the charger.. ( you’ll need to supply your own power plug. The chords included) The remote uses 2 AA batteries, not included. This remote control crane is just like the real deal. The details on the crane, boom and truck with not disappoint. You can change how tight of a circle or “donut” it makes by a lever up front- its white plastic and you can choose degrees of left or right by simply moving the toggle more whatever way you choose thus increasing or decreasing circle size it turns. When moving forward the LED headlights turn on and look just like their big rig counterparts:) The crane can be extended up and down and while it’s moving as well. It reverses and can stop on a dime. When using the crane the cool LED lights on top of truck cab turn on and glow. The tires are soft rubber. I drove this all over the place for several hours.. It was a blast to play with my neighbors came out and were very interested in supporting me & my research to make sure this was a good fit for my grandson😉 The RC Crane is worth the price as you and your child or whoever it’s for will get literally hours of enjoyment and longevity out of this toy. It allows their imagination the freedom to be whatever they choose. In our case he chose to pretend he was helping move troph and mining equipment at his great grampas mine. That’s just one scenario the first day we opened it! Our puppy couldn’t figure out what the heck it was😆 Was so cute and once he got used to it he would chase the crane and then the crane would chase him😄 Good clean , imaginative fun for all ages- young and all… and our puppy:) I drove it on black top, side walk, dirt, grass and mud (not intentionally) It only got stuck twice and that’s no fault of the cranes. It has the power.. I just got it stuck in a huge crack in the sidewalk where it was uneven, both times:) This is a solid built RC crane that will capture your child’s imagination and attention as it looks just like the real deal. Perfectly and strikingly boxed with the feel and motif of real construction eq! Recommended for kids who love to pretend and build stuff.

Doesnt work well
It doesnt function that well as a crane and even struggles to pick up the lightest of objects. Its still a fun little truck, and my 4y/o son has had a blast playing with it.

Works well for a simple toy
I got this to surprise my young nephew. It's the first remote controlled toy he's had, and he learned it pretty quickly. When one button is pressed, the main boom will rise and the jib boom (stinger) will extend. The other button reverses this. The driving controls are conventional, with forward and reverse, and steering left and right.

How fun is THIS?!?!
The media could not be loaded. I realize remote control toys have been around for a LOOoooong time… but I’m still fascinated by them. There wasn’t anything like this when I was growing up. Heck, when I was a kid, a color television was something that rich people had… and we shared a “party line” on our telephone that was anchored to the wall. So, a toy like this was SO far out of the realm of imagination and possibility at that time. Maybe that’s why I like them so much!?!?!This remote control crane (probably more so a Boom Truck), by QuirkyGlee, is GREAT!It comes with two batteries as well as a USB type charging cable for the batteries. The truck itself uses only one of these batteries at a time… so, you are able to keep the battery that is not being used charged up and ready to go at all times. The remote controller utilizes two AA batteries. The controls are VERY easy to learn and use. You have a forward/back joystick as well as a left/right joystick. There are also two buttons that control the boom which cause it to raise/extend and lower/contract. There is also a button that allows you to run it in demo mode where the truck will automatically go through a routine in order to show off what it can do.I have no doubt that this boom truck is going to provide a LOT of enjoyment for my grandchild. If you have a child or a grandchild that is into construction equipment and/or remote control vehicles… this one is easy to control and fun to play with!

Fun little RC crane
It is a fun little RC truck. It has lights when it drives and when you use the crane and it goes pretty fast too. The crane does go up and down. It comes with two rechargeable batteries for the truck and the remote takes regular batteries which are not included. I'm sure it will provide hours of entertainment.

For the price, it provides a lot of fun. Keep your expectations in the $50 price range.
The media could not be loaded. Like:- True R/C toy - does not require line of sight like some remote toys (using R/F vs infrared for control)- Moves pretty fast for crane toy (maybe too fast?) - Good for chasing the cat around the house! :)- Headlights and clearance lights are nice touch.- Steering trim adjustment- Comes with two Li-Ion batteries.- Full charge lasted about 10-15 minutes of use.Notes:- Crane moves outward/upward and inward/downward in paired motion. (See video). Crane platform can be rotated manually. Hook is attached to crane (no descending 'cable')- Requires USB power plug and 2 AA batteries - not included
