Good heat bulb no problems
Perfect for my baby beardy but make sure you put a cage over the bulb as it is hotter than I thought it would be, I accidentally caught the back of my wrist on the hottest part only for a split moment and it burned, the burn has now bubbled. I have no problems with the heat bulb but just making people aware of not caging the bulb.

Good bulb
These are ok. Had a few now and they vary in time they last. But they do give off a good heat to provide adequate basking temperatures for my tortoise

Hot,hot,hot
This thing is major hot. I put my hand in front it and immediately it started to burn, even what I put my hand 2 feet or more away it was still hot. Ideal for hot food display etc.Price is dirt cheap too and I got it next day.

Good product..as long as it arrives working!
I've given 3 stars as have always bought these bulbs from same seller..& normally by 2 at a time so I've got one there always to replace for my snake vivairiam(mind the spelling)"Tank" & then order again..but this time I ordered another 2 & had to replaced old one in tank straight away,so popped one in & left one aside ready to replace again & then order two more..& so on...My only problem is I've been in & out of hospital & living alone..had friend to pop in too water etc..my 1st order bulb which was newly in lasted roughly the same(give & take) which is normal..but when friend went to replace my 2nd order bulb,it was broke which means I had only been sent one working bulb in my order of two...as products are always put away safe as of course, these are bulbs! So was only left with my back up smaller heater which isn't sufficient when more heat is required say after reptile has say just eaten..have been pleased with product etc in the past thus the 3 stars..so would have given 4 maybe if it wasn't for my circumstances..& what with me only now coming out of hospital,I've just found out that a replacement is void because of time clause..which is a shame as been a good customer & was planning to be as well..but for readers planning to buy so far was a good product(Always check all bulbs bought incase it's an on running problem at the mo..enough said from one post customer..will try seller again for reason for my damaged order,& hope to be able to have trust in company for any future orders,& recommendedations as would like to think this was a one off etc

Works ok for me
I find these are great for my tortoise's hutch. If you are going to use one with a thermostat be aware that this (or *any* filament heater bulb) will last much longer if you use a dimming thermostat rather than a simpler on/off one. Filament bulbs are most likely to fail with the sudden surge of current when you switch them on. The gentler rise of current from a dimming thermostat is much less harmful.

Short lived
It's been just over a month and it's completely died on me, the previous bulb lasted 2 years!! What a waste of money.
