Just what I needed for a metamorphosis demonstration. I would say it’s ideal for 1:1 or a small group, and not for a large group unless you have several or will be passing them around. They feel quite sturdy but probably could break if left alone with a child who was intent on breaking it. That said, it’s not something I would chuck in the toy box (unless you child is old enough and sensible enough), but definitely a great learning or display tool with the right supervision.

My toddler son is obsessed with all things insect/bug related and loves this set. It's a great tool for teaching him about the lifecycle of butterflies and the elements are all sturdy and very realistic.

It’s amazing for science project

I love the butterflies life cycle. You get 4 models. That is a really nice teaching aid. I'm going to set up a small fish tank and have the plastic models change as the life cycles of the butterflies change. My grand kids are going to love this.

Several misspellings in this book, which my eight year old granddaughter pointed out.It also has it's facts wrong, needs to be reviewed or removed
