For Prius radio with 20-pin steering wheel control harness
Firstly, Carol has helped me to work through many issues. Great customer service. This is a great unit for 100+, a combination of phone holder, Bluetooth AUX adapter, video monitor, and backup camera could cost around 100. I need all of those functions plus the steering wheel control and wired/wireless Android autoplay.Making my steering wheel control work is a little more tricky than other Prius. My original radio has 20-pin, 12-pin, 6-pin, and 10-pin harnesses(see image 1 left to right). The included harness has a 6-pin, 10-pin, 28-pin, and antenna plug. 6-pin and 10-pin are exact matches. The antenna plug can be cut off. 28-pin harness does not match. But how do I make the 20-pin steering wheel harness connect to the tablet? I bought a Toyota 20-pin steering wheel harness from Amazon. It has not only the steering wheel control connectors but also AUX-in connectors. The steering wheel control, SW1 and SW2, are pin 7 and pin 8 (see image 2). The black tablet harness has orange/white wire that is KEY1 and orange/black wire that is KEY2. First, cut both orange wires from the 6-pin harness. They are unnecessarily wired. Soldering orange/white wire (KEY1) to pin 7 (SW1) and orange/black wire (KEY2) to pin 8 (SW2). See image 3 and 4. Image 5 is the final product. The steering wheel control can map a short-pressed or long-pressed button to 2 different commands. My 5 buttons SWC can have up to 10 mappings. See image 6.Mirror Link is out of date technology. I can't even install it on my phone. Wired Android Auto works 100%. Wireless AA is not so easy. The key is that the phone needs Bluetooth to the tablet's BT (Name is Car BT) and Android Auto Wi-Fi to the tablet's hot spot (Name is AndroidAP_####). 26 desktop themes saves me the trouble to install another car launcher. FM radio works good. GPS has good reception. Trim fits not perfect but OK. One thing I would recommend to the vendor is if they can add a Wi-Fi antenna in the tablet to extend the range. In case you wonder, Device Info app specs this tablet as MT8163 quad-core CPU, 1.99 GB ram, 1.95 GB system storage, 25 GB data internal storage, 0 sensors, no compass, and OS Android Pie. The just-good-enough hardware doesn't bother me. I use only 2 apps, radio and zLink. The performance is OK and has all the functions I need for a very good price.Overall, a good purchase.

I really wanted this to work. But it didn't
It fit pretty well and the screen was sharp and clear. But it just would not re-sync with my phone.

You get what you pay for
Pros:• The unit is a direct fit and truly plug-and-play.• Once connected, it performs very well.Cons:• The instructions are poorly written, so I had to experiment to figure things out.• Pink wire is for the back up camera• Zlink app is what to used to connect to your phone• Bluetooth app icon is a phone icon, not a Bluetooth icon (took me awhile to find the Bluetooth settings)• This unit isn’t fully compatible with the US market. Out of the four plugs, only two are functional, which means the steering wheel controls and radio features don’t work.• The Apple CarPlay USB connection didn’t work for me; I had to rely on Bluetooth instead.• Bluetooth can be unreliable at times.• The backup camera doesn’t display guidelines, and the view is too zoomed in, making it difficult to judge distances.Overview:I primarily use Apple CarPlay, so I haven’t connected the external microphone or GPS unit since the built-in mic works fine, and CarPlay uses your phone’s GPS. Upgrading to a backup camera that includes guidelines is worth considering. Overall, this is a decent option, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for.

Great upgrade to an old car!
Excellent product. Installing was a breeze in the front dash part. Reverse camera install was also fairly easy after watching a few youtube videos on how to remove the trunk panels. Sound quality is very nice. Overall software of the unit is great. However, I do have to mention that my samsung phone doesnt not stably connect. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesnt. Wired connection works flawless though. Also, no issues with iOS wireless carplay.

works great, cut two wires and everything worked as it should
Works great, fits well, used the tiny screws on the back of the bezel to hold the unit in place. It wasn't a factory perfect fit but it's pretty close. Two wires on the harness needed to be cut and then the unit was able to pick up the steering wheel controls. The microphone that comes with it really sucks though.

Easy install great upgrade
10 minutes install just need 10mm socket to remove stock radio, plug and play. Do not need to order additional harness as Amazon suggests (I did, will be returned)The stereo comes already with the harness need it, just plug in no hard wired. If you like to install reverse camera will be probably lots of more work, mostly to run the cables across the vehicle.

No steering wheel control, no technical support
“ Technical supportTalk to an expert when you need help getting your product set up or troubleshooting issues.”Except no phone number no email response. Amazon customer support useless unless you just want a refund
